The genuine animosity between these dudes was so palpable that I still think this is the best rivalry in the history of the sport. I think you could argue this one as being the most hate fuelled rivalry before McGregor vs Khabib happened. Nothing comes close to the levels of intensity that their animosity for one another generated during the whole build up to the fight, the fight itself, and even after the fight.
