AND the time machine mod (the one that makes the beggar donations go faster). AND the unintrustive pause menu mod.
This is one of my most satisfying tainted cain runs to date. Ok ignore everything past this point, while I'm late for this upload... I also wanna shove as many funny item names as possible in here; plus nobody will read it anyways: Early bird's eye and brimstone have such HUGE c section tech x POTENTIAL (even though it's not as good as ghost pepper), although a bit of a change of plans involving sacred heart and a missed opportunity of rerolling items with the d6 made this run a bit more dangerous than it should have been, not to mention holy light's synergy with perfection's 10+ luck which just ended up melting everything I came in contact with. With so many soy milk angel rooms and the combination of godhead and proptosis, including the ipecac (dunce cap) I was basically guaranteed to find sacred heart, crown of light, and many other OP items that made this run a free monstro's lung win featuring edmund mcmillen (who also created super meat boy)... And I'm totally not mentioning these items in the description just for keywords or anything, why would I ever do that? This paragraph is also ABSOLUTELY not copied from another one of my videos but with certain words changed to make sense in the context of this video, that would just be silly. Wow, did you really read all of that? I'm proud of you.
Ok since nobody's gonna read this... I can say that I'm 100% changing my YT username to just "Laven" for 2 reasons:
1. I hate how people mispronounce lavencas, it's supposed to be just like "Lavender Castle" if you remove the extra letters, but a ton of people put emphasis on the VEN which sounds extremely weird to me and annoys me to no end
2. Some of you also seem to think the L is an i but WHYYYYYYY
I was thinking of rebranding to a different name entirely, but that's too much effort and a lot of people would be confused sooooo... yeah. Also fun fact the name lavencas was kind of a placeholder until I thought of something that sounded better, but my channel exploded way faster than I would've ever imagined and by that point it was too late...

fun fact: most of the captions you see on screen are synced up to music beats, its a really dumb thing I started doing recently but it just feels... right? takes a whole lot more effort to caption this way but I can't stop now lol

I prefer the calculator website, EID recipes arent that helpful if you're trying to make a certain item
For example: I'm trying to make a recipe that requires a pill, but theres no pills anywhere on the floor. I wouldn't know I need a pill with just EID, and I can then look around for consumables to craft moms coin purse so that i can get pills to make the recipe i wanrlt
@@dablux3892 There are multiple recipes for 1 item, so you wouldnt need pills in your example ^^
Also EID shows you the best quality items you can craft rn with stuff on the floor

I think your vids are good luck for me. I did as run as T.Keeper after watching your vid yesterday. First floor was pretty mediocre, but second floor? I got sacred heart and dead dove from using the sac room. Then there was continuum in the item room. Next floor, I got C-section from the item room and that candle from the sac room. So the run was pretty crazy. :3

Does anyone know why the EID crafting list isn't the same for me, is there a different mod I have to install for the crafting list? Because mine is the same mod but the crafting list is very different.
before the nerf tainted cain was the best character for farming coins on greed mode
i had a combo i called "harvester" it used a few copies of mom's knife tiny planet and all multishots
it looked like the blades of a harvester and wrecked everything in its path

Hey, a good strat to farm a lot is to make car battery and then the D1, to double items, hope it help you :)
i thought they made tainted cain's bag of crafting random based off of pickup qualities? Do you have a mod that changes it back or something?

Im kinda new to BOI but how do you unlock the tainted characters? (Im still trying to beat mom's heart to get to Sheol)
Gotta unlock the alt path first by beating Hush 3 times. That's way off from where you are. Gotta beat Mother on the alt path and then you can take a door to The Ascent and you use a cracked key or red key on a wall before the final boss
I have installed the crafting recipes mod for cain but it shows just the possible quality of the items and not the actual recipes like yours, do you maybe know why?

Tainted cain is actually way more broken in greedier considering you can usually always craft atleast one steam sale before even starting a round you can instatnly break him sulfur and all is a strategy yes since its faster but you can genuinly get infinite edens blessing first floor and it only takes maybe 10 mins or so if your quick?

I've never picked up tCain because he seemed so complex. Might download this mod to learn how to play him
There's also a website that's a bit more helpful because this kid just tells you what you can make based on what's on the ground whereas in the website you can search items I believe.
