He is completely right about the lack of accountability piece. I have dated or known women who have cheated, then all the sudden when information comes out, they are suddenly assaulted and in no way it's their fault; in a lot of those cases there were witnesses who can confirm the story was bs, or who saw other suspicious behavior that wasn't consistent with the behavior of someone who was actually afraid or felt threatened.

I think the non-BS version of her story is this:
She had too much to drink at the first party and let her boyfriend's childhood friend smash her. She felt guilty about it and became emotionally distant from her boyfriend. This put strain on the relationship. She bumped into her ex-boyfriend, cried on his shoulder, then cheated with him. She got caught by her friends, put on blast, and her boyfriend dumped her. Now she's playing the victim because she's facing the consequences of her actions.
    Just my take.

Her boyfriend was clearly not mature enough to ask questions and she didn't broke up with him after being SA'd and you are literally starving to find someone who can understand you. It was the best for her, her ex is far from perfect if she doesn't even feel safe enough to tell him about being SA'd. The victimhood mentality is normal when you get SA'd because you just can't understand why people don't believe you and your mind is not ok. You can ask SA victims how they were unable to heal until their partner broke up with them.

I've known 'that guy' that tries to convince you to do some shifty shit behind his friend's back, and I've been in a situation where a course of action directly opposed to my loyalties and moral code felt like the only way ensure my own safety. I even understand not telling your fella' right away because you don't want him to flip out and make the situation worse.
The part where I fall off the wagon, is telling the ex-boyfriend and not the current. I get not telling him immediately, needing time, etc, but the choice to confide in the ex is not the act of someone that puts their partner first. She knew how that would make the current boyfriend feel. She chose to do it anyway.
Which honestly, is fine, whatever. Talk to whoever you want - but that suggests that the current relationship isn't worth either of their time anyway. There's clearly no trust on either side, take your half of the accountability for that broken dynamic, and quit while you're behind. Then in my guilt confided about it only with my ex who I totally didn't behave inappropriately with while drunk at another party to the point where my friends felt the need to tell my boyfriend and then for some reason I can't understand he dumped my ass.

    1. Tell everybody how much you loved your boyfriend and that you did way more than you cared about yourself to point out that you are a good person.
    2. Point out all the red flags he was giving while you don’t describe your state at that moment and that you were force to do it because he was drunk while I’m sure she wasn’t sober as well and liked the attention she might not was getting from her boyfriend after 1,5 years
    3. Don’t take accountability for her actions and blames her boyfriend and friends now because she is alone with some men.. men know how men can be being alone around a woman when they have been drinking.

There is something about that drive that's weird too. She drove them because he was too drunk, but he came anyway. She dropped all the kids home, and between the last kid being dropped off and arriving back at the party, it was enough time for him to beg for 30 minutes AND for her to do it anyway? How far away was this last kid's house? If it was 45 minutes drive, then she would be 15 minutes from the party and think "damn, he has been begging for 30 minutes, I can't put up with this for 15 more" and just do it. If it was an hour away, that means she was gone for at least 2 hours, maybe more than 3 after dropping everyone off. This girl is acting like everything that happened was just events successively happening to her and she played no part in the way things unfolded. You aren’t responsible for what happens to u but u are very responsible for what you do or how u react.

If it was sexual assault then she should press charges.

The loops and turns this story took is insane 😭 how we go from her pulling over and bumping uglies with his childhood best friend to mental hospital and running away from home????

SO when she said she had to pull over and give in she said she was scared and she didn't know where her phone was... that's sus... I mean people just don't drive and randomly leave their phone out in the car. It's in your pocket. She knows what she did that night she just can't admit it and that's even a bigger red flag.
A person who can gaslight themselves into believing she was coerced into cheating with a thousand excuses waiting for anyone who dares question her story is not a healthy partner to have. But I gotta hedge though, she's a typical teen these days with all the drama and poor choices. Maybe she'll grow out of it.

Yeah. Some psychologists basically say that all teenagers are narcissists, most grow out of it. She is a completely narcissist right now; gaslighting, manipulating, no accountability…
She did say his friend “borderlined assaulted her” because she couldn’t bring herself to say he deserved charges for what happened. I think that’s as close as we’ll get to get admitting she cheated consensually.

So she was at a house party, drove people home so that a drunk guy wouldn’t drive them and didn’t know where her phone was. Also she being a teenager decided it would be a good idea to drive a drunk guys expensive car, that probably belonged to his parents, when she wouldn’t have been on the insurance. Don’t know where she lives but surely an Uber or taxi or other friend could have driven the people home. I don’t think there is much of a chance she wasn’t drinking at that party and she was probably drunk driving, sure she may have not been as drunk as the guy was but she was still drunk, who that’s sober leaves a party without their phone?
Also if he was trying to convince her for half an hour then she gave in, then unless he was getting violent she could have not given in and just drove them back. Also if he was trying to convince her for half an hour then that would be plenty time to find a residential area or back to the party rather than give in. Also if it was over half an hour to drive back to the party then that means the round trip was over an hour to take those kids home, probably closer to two, so who at the end of a house party, drunk, decides to drive 1-2 hours to take some people home? Also if she was sober then who goes on an over one hour drive very late at night or early morning without their phone in someone else’s car, she either had to be extremely irresponsible or drunk or it didn’t actually happen like she says it did.
Either she is extremely stupid or irresponsible, drunk driving for a few hours with a car full of people or that story isn’t what really happened, maybe they decided to go for a drunken drive in the guys parents nice car and then ended up in the back. Her story definitely doesn’t add up. If you are sober at a party it is usually because you are being the responsible one, driving for a few hours without your phone doesn’t seem too responsible, especially when driving someone else’s car that you won’t be insured on and could count as theft.
There are just too many things that seem wrong with the whole story, chances are she willingly did stuff with that guy in the car, and then felt guilty about it and became distant from her boyfriend, then she talks to her ex and her boyfriend is told she was cheating on him, so she has been emotionally and physically distant for months and caught talking to her ex and accused of cheating, it is perfectly plausible to think that she may have been distant because she was cheating, then she is caught talking to an ex and accused of cheating, so to a lot of people that would sound like she has been cheating.
The whole story just doesn’t completely make sense and the fact that she always makes it sound that she was in the right and doing the right thing and she was assaulted and a victim, and can’t see anything wrong with what she did is definitely a red flag and makes the story sound pretty fake. It just sounds like she is taking zero accountability.

She was driving around a bunch of drunk people just trusting their directions? Nuh uh, I’m getting their addresses and putting it into my phone, no way I’m getting lost cause I didn’t have maps up. And this coming from a girl who just oozes “I’m gonna do a Tik Tok dance” she really thought we’d believe she didn’t know where her phone was?
