You know when it comes to vacuums we really should raise our voices and ask these companies to make all removable rollers so that we not only can take the hairs off or whatever but wash them for crying out loud! Who wants to go over a rug that they maybe have shampooed or even a floor that they mopped with the same dirt y germ infested brush roll? What's up with all these companies that make these vacuumes ? ? ? ALL VACUUMS SHOULD COME WITH REMOVABLE AND I MEAN EASILY REMOVABLE BRUSH ROLLS !

I have tried out the toilet bowl cleaner on cleaning the grout and it does work. I also used it on the shower walls. I had great tenants so ckeaning was not a huge issue since they were very clean.
I had a house that I rented out to a family of 4. They lived there for 18yrs and I can honestly say that I never had a problem with their rent. The man was always on time with the rent. His wife took good care of the house and property. They moved out when they bought a house. I was heartbroken to see them go but happy for them.
I know not every person that rents out property gets good tenants. I was lucky.
I now rent that same house to an elderly couple and one pet.
It's very sad when some renters who destroy property by not cleaning and adding junk around the outside or inside the property really mess it up for other people.
All I can say to property owners who rent is to be on your toes and always check your properties. It's your most valued investment.

I think the rubber glove would work to remove pet hair from fabric without using the stick hairspray - I wouldn't want the residue on the textiles.
I wonder if silver polish would be safer for your silverware over the long run.

Or rinse in the sink after. Before you wash. If you are using regular powdered laundry soaps you can make a paste with water put area of clothing to be soaked in to a bowl and pour the paste and let sit over night wash the next day. Don't dry clothes that have a stain until you check to see it the stain is gone. Use Vinegar in your towels instead of fabric softener. You can even pour some on a clean wash cloth and use it like a dryer sheet. Just keep using the same wash cloth. I have white ones just for that. Colored ones for washing you. Also keeps your washer and dryer from smelling stinky.

Hey, here's a toilet "tip" that might help some people.
If you have a toilet/toilet tank that won't stop "sweating" (regardless if the tank is insulated or not) you can get an anti-sweat valve from your local hardware/plumbing store.
It has a hot and a cold inlet and a mixed outlet. The temperature of the water can be adjusted, so you don't melt your wax seal.

I had renters that had never cleaned anything for five years. I honestly didn’t know if cleaning it was even possible, gasoline and matches seemed more realistic. One of the cleaning hacks that I did have huge success with was using toilet cleaner on the grout between the ceramic tiles in the bathrooms. The results were amazing and the bathroom floors honestly looked brand new. (The carpet and kitchen floors didn’t fare as well and had to be replaced. I will NEVER rent again!)

DONT PUT DISH SOAP IN YOUR WASHING MACHINE! Rinse it first or you will have suds foaming out the front! There is a good reason the soap for your machines is a low foam soap. A much better way to disinfect your pillows (especially old foam chip ones) is to sew them into new pillow cases and then toss them into the dryer with a scent you like in whatever form you prefer on a high heat for a short period of time ( 10 minutes MAX!). All bacteria and mites etc will be dead. Then hang them outside in the sun for and hour and fluff and beat so the dust and hair etc. will come out. BOOM, like new! Dont use toothpaste on your silver as the toothpaste is actually taking silver OFF!!

I can absolutely confirm not putting laundry soap in the dishwasher. About 25 years ago, my first date with who would be my husband, I invited him to my place for dinner. I ran out of dishwasher soap and had to run it so 19 year old me thought I had a brilliant idea. Oh my, I went to the store to grab a few things for spaghetti ( I should have bought dish soap instead lol) and came home to a very tiny kitchen filled with suds. I was still cleaning when he showed up. It has given us quite a few laughs, and a good lesson over the last 25 years 😂

Similar to the grout trick in the video, if you don't have the gel cleaner, I had a friend teach me to line the grout with bleach ( & water) soaked paper towels and just let them sit there and allow the bleach to do it's thing. Come back to it and brush it clean as he did in the video.

I didn't want my Ma to see it when she got home so I literally tried everything in the cabinet to try and get it off, the toothpaste did the trick. My daughter loses hair at a stupid level I honestly don't know why she isn't bald, I've been taking the scissors and tweezers after my vacuum roller for years. The tweezers help get things out of the very end where your scissors won't reach.

I havent used it on my teeth for about 5 years now on the advice from a dentist! I also havent had my teeth cleaned for almost 10 years! My teeth have been extremely sensitive ever since a bad dentist ground my teeth to try to make them fit together better and I lost so much enamel. Soooo I stopped eating all nuts and nut butters and brushing with toothpaste and having my teeth cleaned and boy has it made a big difference! I now use toothpaste only to clean my sinks and stove etc! hahaha

A piece of felt that goes under a chair door? I think you mean a chair leg... 🤣
You also don't need to spray hairspray on a glove to remove pet hair from fabric or furniture. All that does is smear sticky hairspray everywhere... Just use plain water and it works just as well. I usually don't even wet the glove, any of those "yellow" gloves work fine dry. Put a towel between the layers of a t-shirt before you spray or rub anything into a stain, otherwise you're just rubbing the stain from one side of the shirt to the other.
Don't use toothpaste on good silver - you could clearly see all of the scratches in that pan left from the toothpaste. Quit being cheap and go buy some silver cleaner, it's not expensive.
