If you see closely the mesh light and the sphere light have the exact same impact only differences is shape. I have used Vray for years now. This is not progress but simply giving options very few people need. Corona has a better mesh light.

The light source should be invisible by default, as per my experience using light source visibility is very rare usage. Also Chaos browser not providing IES files like HDRI.

Because there is literally hundreds of thousands of IES lights for free on the internet. Ever used google?

@@punithaiuthere's also hundreds of thousands of everything else included within the chaos system, all easily found on the internet... Does this mean they should remove those? I agree with him, adding ies profiles would be a small addition but greatly welcomed

Why lightsource objects still are not antialiased? Will we wait for vray v10 for this?

I've always found it strange that you can change the light's colour, yet the actual light itself still looks bright white in the render. That needs to be corrected as it simply looks wrong.

It's quite disheartening to say that V-Ray is lagging far behind the competition. I've been a V-Ray user for over 10 years, and I've noticed very little progress in comparison to the competition.
