Reminds me of the movie Mystery, Alaska. It’s hard to believe people can live that far north! I find it hard enough existing in Edmonton. I bet it’s amazing in summer though! 😊
What a perfect piece of our country I am in awe . I wish to live there after my shift in Toronto ends Sell this house for $800000 . Move to Inuvik and live a real life for the remainder of my days
Really nice and peacefull place! How much it cost to live place like that? Inuvik is far off to citys so I think wood is expensive and of course heat up during the winter time.
+Walkingdeadman1991 I actually don't live there, I was up there for work. I do live in Northern Ontario for all my life and you do get used to the cold as as bundle up for it. It's just part of living in any city in the North. People do laugh because I travel to Montreal for work and my winter jacket here is a lightweight fleece.....
+Rose Elley No, I flew in for an upgrade at the hospital and had a rental vehicle while I was there. Lived in Moosonee for 20+ years and did my share of ice roads to Attawipiskat and Fort Albany.
I live here, born and raised. I wouldn’t live anywhere else, well maybe further north !! It does cost a lot to live here but it is only money..... you forgot a lot of important buildings.... Igloo Church, IDC Building, ICC building, court house, Stanton’s, School, Rec Complex. But you did manage to hit the worst place of all, liquor store 🤬
I lived in this beautiful little town for 4.5 years! Such good memories!
Cathy how was it? I got a job there. Any tips
An arctic paradise.... its gonna be pretty awesome when they finish the highway to Tuktoyuktuk.
stationed there for 3 years in the military it was an experience to say the lease. 1979 to 1983 it has changed but not changed

Is the cold hard to live with or do you get used to it after a while?

Randy Bustraen Haha I can imagine! I actually like the cold quite a bit, so I am envious of you! Enjoy the rest of this winter!
I live in south Texas. Constant heat year round is too much.
Did you take the ice road?

I'd love to see someone's monthly budget.
