For everything that we latter day saints do correctly, we give full credit to living the gospel of Jesus Christ, as we underatand it.
I recommend inviting pastor Jeff from the Hello Saints channel. He's an evangelical who has spent the last few years learning about our beliefs directly from us.

That list of “beliefs” is actually a parody of the actual beliefs. If I searched out the most uncharitable ex-Protestant and asked them to make a list of what Protestants believe I wouldn’t even get a list this bad. They would have to twist the beliefs into a knot purposefully to get this bad.

I havent watched your channel before, so as an LDS person, i was intrigued. I was declined from a local homeschool co-op because we're LDS, so i was feeling let down by other Christians. The unresearched list in the beginning and making fun of some of our beliefs was upsetting. I would never say to someone "let's be friends" and then mock their core beliefs.

Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon) here. While you guys had some inaccuracies (particularly that list in the beginning), overall you guys were very respectful and loving. Thank you! The reason (at least the primary reason) we don’t call ourselves Mormon is because we want to emphasize that we worship Christ, no one else. You can now consider a mid-thirties guy in northern Utah as a friend :) keep up the great work and vids.

Hey I'll be friends with you! However, if you want to spread information about members of a faith, you should probably get your information from the members of that faith and not from the playbook of those who are disenchanted or hostile toward the faith. I would suggest looking at the official Church website and clicking on the "About us" link and then the "What we believe" link if you truly are interested in understanding. I couldn't watch all the way to the end because of all the half-truths and misunderstanding. Maybe post a follow up video when you have better information? You seem like good people. I'll pray for you as you say you pray for us and maybe we'll end up understanding one another better with God's help.

I am glad we are friends. It is interesting to hear people tell me what I believe. I served a mission in Russia. It was an amazing experience sharing my testimony about Jesus Christ to the people of Russia for two years. We may disagree on a couple of points but we believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, born of Mary, resurrected after three days, our Advocate with the Father
In fact the Book of Mormon is Another Testament of Jesus Christ. We believe it is sacred scripture and invite all to read it.
No we dont believe that there are only "a couple places in heaven"
Mormon boarding school???? Never heard of it.
Do you mean BYU? It is a University, with a D1 football team, basketball and other sports. 30K+ students. Anyone can attend, in fact you dont have to be LDS to attend.

I believe the boarding school they may be referring to Provo Canyon School, in Provo. It wasn't Church owned school, but it was owned and operated by church members. I went there in 1977-1978. It's a school for troubled youth.

Love the video but a few points I'd like to make as an active member for the LDS church.
We can have caffeine. We don't drink coffee and green or black tea. People make the assumption that it's because of the caffeine, but that's simply not true.
We are not a works based faith, at least not any more than any other Christian faith.
There are not a specific amount of spots in heaven. It is my personal belief that most people will actually reach heaven.
A different version of Jesus. I'm curious why Evangelical Christians emphasize this so much. Where in the Bible does it state that we must believe in the trinity? Or where does it state that we must believe the nature of God to be a certain way? We believe in God the Father, in His Son Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost. Why would it matter whether or not we believe them to be all in 1 or 3 separate beings?

    CONTINUATION - Pages 5 to 8
    10. Mormons believe they will become gods
We Believe that we can become like our Heavenly Father and our Saviour Jesus Christ.
That is our divine potential. That is our Heavenly Father’s ultimate plan for those of His children that follow His Son Jesus Christ, our Saviour. It is taught in the scriptures (Bible, Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenant and Pearl of Great Price (all of our canonized scriptures)
    John 10:34 - 36
34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?
    35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;
36 Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?
    Psalms 82 1 & 6
1 God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.
6 I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.
5 For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,)
6 But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.
    Matthew 5:48
48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
    Hebrews 1:1 - 3
1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
    2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
    3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
    Romans 8:14 - 17
14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
    Acts 7:55 - 56
55 But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up steadfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,
56 And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.
    Revelation 1:6
6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
    Revelation 2:26
26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
    Revelation 3:21 - 22
21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
    Revelation 21:7
7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
    Colosians 3:4
4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
    2 Timothy 2:12
12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:
    Hebrews 12:9
9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?
    11. Mormons will get their own planet after death:
This is not something we teach, talk about or focus on. We don’t know much about what it is to become like our Heavenly Father and our Saviour Jesus Christ. We strive to follow our Saviour Jesus Christ. That is our focus.
    12. Mormons wear magic underwear and never take them off except to bathed.
Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who have been Endowed in the Temple wear Temple garments. The Temple garments are NOT magic underwears. There is no magic about them. It is worn under our regular clothes. It is not worn when taking a shower/bath. It is not worn during certain sport activities. It is not worn when swimming (in the ocean, lake, or pool).
    czcams.com/video/5vvN4qJRBM0/video.html&pp=ygUTTERTIFRlbXBsZSBnYXJtZW50cw%3D%3D
It is an outward expression (worn under our regular clothing) of inward commitment to our Saviour Jesus Christ and a reminder of Covenants we made with our Heavenly Father and our Saviour Jesus Christ.
    13. It is a sin to drink caffeine
Caffeine in and of itself is not against our Word of Wisdom (Law of Health). Members drink many sodas (Coke, Pepsi, Mt Dew, etc.) that have caffeine in them. Coffee, Hot Tea (i.e. Green Tea is not allowed / Herbal Teas are allowed), Alcohol (beer, liquor, etc.), Tobacco, and illegal drugs are against our Law of Health (Word of Wisdom).
    14. Mormons have to go unto a 2-year missionary journey / - they don’t get to talk to their families:
Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints DON’T HAVE TO go on a 2-year mission. Brethren (18 - 26 yrs old) are encouraged to go. Most do not go. Sisters (19 - 29 yrs old) are able to go if they choose. When I went on my mission about 35 years ago, there were only about 35,000 full-time and Senior (older adult) missionaries. Today (2024), there are alittle over 100,000 missionaries (full-time, Senior, and service missionaries) worldwide. Missionaries are able to talk (call/video chat) with their families weekly.

Most on your list of topics are not accurate. As for the Garden of Eden being in Missouri, keep in mind when Adam was on earth, there was only one huge continent, which scientists call Pangea. When the flood happened, Noah and his family got displaced and landed near the Middle East. The Middle East is not the original place. The ancient Egyptians understood this and knew the continents got separated and that is why they tried to sail west across the Atlantic to America because they knew that was the original home before the flood. They explained to Greeks the flood sunk the huge continent, which is how the Greeks came up with Atlantis.

A lot of what was stated already was covered. I think what is missing is the financial history of the LDS history. From the start it was revealed that the Saints must support themselves, because the World will only seek to destroy them. Latter-day Saints tried twice to live a Communist (financial) type society similar to Christians in the Bible. The World interfered both times, but self sufficiency remained part of the religion. A few times the LDS Church were bankrupt, but that only caused a push to get out of that situation.

    Friendly fact check:
    1. Christ is Satan's brother - Latter-day Saints believe Heavenly Father is the Heavenly Father of all creation, including spirit beings. We do not believe in the Catholic based doctrine of the Trinity (that doctrine originated with the Nicean Creed), so we believe Heavenly Father, and His Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost are separate individuals. Most Protestants also believe in the Trinity, though not all.
We believe Christ is our elder brother, the Firstborn of Heavenly Father. We also believe Lucifer was also one of Heavenly Father's spirit children, but he rebelled and was cast down. Since Christ and Lucifer are both children of Heavenly Father, they are spiritual brothers.
    2. Kolob - Yes, this doctrine comes from divine revelation from the modern prophet Joseph Smith as he revealed the Book of Abraham to us.
    3. Jesus is married to a godess wife - I mean, probably? We know in Jewish Law, rabbis are required to be married, and Christ was a rabbi, so He was probably married in mortality. We also believe in eternal marriage, so it makes logical sense.
    4. Jesus has children from his wives - Again, probably? Unless He was sterile, as a rabbi He would have been married, and likely would have had children.
    5. Garden of Eden in Missouri - Not quite, access to the actual Garden of Eden was likely removed from the earth, but that is where we believe they entered the fallen world we live in. By the way, have you been there? I've heard it's like 6 feet of topsoil.
    6. Mormons are the "real" Christians - Do you mean the only church with the authority of God on the earth, the same authority the early apostles held? If so, then yes. If no, what do you mean?
    7. Blacks couldn't get into heaven before 1978 - This is definitely false, the Bible and Book of Mormon both plainly teach that God is "no respecter of persons." The Book of Mormon is especially adamant that God doesn't care about the color of someone's skin, He will always extend Grace to those who repent, regardless of their race, nationality, gender, etc.
    8. Mormons baptize dead people- Also false, we practice baptisms on behalf of the dead, as the early Saints practiced until the Council of Carthage in AD 397. It is referenced in 1 Corinthians 15:29, where Paul was referencing the practice of baptisms for the dead (which they knew, understood, and participated in) to teach the doctrine of the resurrection.
    9. Mormons believe we will become gods - Christ taught this, referencing one of the Psalms. Technically, He said we already are gods. John 10:34. We shouldn't be surprised by this, since (assuming offspring are allowed to develop properly) a chick grows up to be a hen, and a child grows up to be like his father.
    10. Mormons will get their own planet after death - That's nonsense, it's AT MINIMUM an entire galaxy. More likely, an entire universe.
    11. Magic underwear - Mine is especially magic, yes, this is very true.
    12. It is a sin to drink caffeine - This is untrue, I drink Bucked Up energy drinks all the time and am in good standing. It was a sin to drink caffeinated tea and coffee until recently, now we are simply commanded to live the highest law of the Word of Wisdom (a commandment to be healthy) that we feel is appropriate. It took the commandment from a rigid set of rules to a higher law of us seeking personal revelation on what we needed.

Hello Kingdom Friends, some of my fellow members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints have already addressed each of the inaccurate and/or misconstrued "mormon beliefs", so I'm going to skip that and jump to our core beliefs:
We believe in God, the Eternal Father, and in His Son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost.
We believe that Jesus Christ is our Savior, and that we must have faith in Him and repent of our sins.
We believe that every person is a beloved daughter or son of God.
We believe that God guides us on Earth, partly, through prophets. We believe that God uses prophets today.
We believe the Bible to be the Word of God. We also believe the Book of Mormon-Another Testament of Jesus Christ to be the Word of God.
We believe that families can be forever.
We believe that the most important thing we can do in this lifetime is to folllow Christ's example and love and serve others.
Yes, we believe alot of other things, too, but these are our core beliefs that you're going to hear repeatedly at our meetings. Thanks.

lol Mariot Hotel is owned by a member not the church. Also they can have caffeine, but if the members understand the word of wisdom they'll realize their body is a temple and is sacred and will do things to take care of it to keep it clean as can be, so the Holy Ghost can dwell there and not another spirit. Another thing The Church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints traditions resemble the Hopi Natives a lot more than Masons. With that there is nothing wrong with Masonry in itself it's not a satanic cult or anything like that. The satanic church if you want to go there they are there own thing. And yes every big organization has been infiltrated and influenced in some way, as they are in every government and in every high level spi network and that is their job and covenant with satan. Just because someone practices Masonry it's faults judgment to assume such things. With that missionaries arnt building their kingdom. It is the kingdom of Jesus Christ, the son of God who is coming. The whole purpose is that others may know God and make covenants. lol lot of misinformation, it's understandable when you don't double check, but remember satan will deceive when we don't ask Ask God that we seek and find than knock and the knowledge will come. satan is waiting and desires to feed us too.

    1.The Mormon Church:
The actual name of the church is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints or Latter-day Saints for short.
    2. Jesus Christ is Satan’s brother:
Yes, it is a belief of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints found in the Bible and our other scriptures. Lucifer became the evil brother of us ALL, including Jesus Christ.
We believe that God the Father through Jesus Christ (the 1st begotten/First born (Hebrews 1:6, Hebrews 12:23, Colossians 1:15)) created all things (John1:1 - 3, Hebrews 1:2, Ephesians 3:9, Colosians 1:16). Because we were created by God, we are all spirit sons and daughters (Angels, Humans, Messengers, Devils, etc.) of God (Hebrews 12:9). So if God the Father created all things/Spirits, then God created Satan/Lucifer. Lucifer is a Spirit son of Heavenly Father, also known as son of the morning (meaning he is one of the elder spirit sons of Heavenly Father). Isaiah 14:12 - 14. Does God create anything that is evil? No, so that means Lucifer was created good, but chose to become evil through choices that he made in the pre-mortal world, pre-existence, pre-earth life. There was a grand council in heaven and Lucifer rebelled against God, his father and our Father and Christ’s Father and he (Lucifer) led away a 1/3 of the host (spirit sons and daughters) of Heaven. There was a war in Heaven and the Devil (Lucifer) and his angels (sons and daughters of God) were cast out of Heaven (Revelation 12:7 - 9).
    Hebrew 12:9
9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?
    Job 38:4 - 7
4 Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.
5 Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it?
    6 Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof;
7 When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?
    Isaiah 14:12 - 15
12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
    Revelation 12: 7 - 9
4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.
7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
    3. God lives near a planet called Kolob:
Kolob is the closest Star to where God dwells (HEAVEN). Heaven is an actuall place.
    4. Jesus is married to a goddess wife:
This is not our doctrine, though some members and other Christians may speculate and believe that Jesus Christ was married. This is not what we believe nor teach.
    5. Jesus has children from his wives:
This is not our doctrine, though some members and other Christians may speculate and believe that Jesus Christ was married and had children. This is not what we believe nor teach.
    6. The Garden of Eden was in Missouri:
We believe that the Garden of Eden is in now what is called Missouri. When Adam and Eve was cast out of the Garden of Eden due to the FALL, they settled nearby. The Flood (Noah’s Flood) brought Noah and his family to what is called the old-world (middle-east area).
    7. Mormons are the real Christians
We believe that we are Christians and all those (Catholics, Orthodox, Protestants, etc.) that believe in and follow Jesus Christ as their Saviour and Redeemer, who was born of the Virgin Mary, Atoned for our sins, suffered in the garden of Gethsemane and on the cross, died for us, and rose again on the 3 day, and ascended to heaven are CHRISTIANS as well. We don’t gatekeep on who can or cannot be called Christian.
    8. before 1978, Blacks could not get into heaven:
That is false. Blacks (those of African descent) could always go to heaven before 1978. Those males of African descent could not hold the Priesthood for a time. Also, those of African descent could not go into the Temples for a time as well. Also, people of color (Polynesians, Melanesians, Southeast Asians, Indians, etc. could hold the Priesthood from the beginning of the Church.
    9. Mormons baptize dead people:
We don’t baptize (actual) dead people. It is called “Baptism FOR the dead”. We are baptized (as proxy / in behalf of) for those of our ancestors who have passed on who never had an opportunity to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. I.E. - some of my ancestors are from Japan, so we research our family history (genealogy) and take those names to the Temple to perform saving ordiances (baptisms, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, Endowment, Sealing, etc.) and give them the choice to accept Jesus Christ’s saving ordinances or not accept it. It is their choice.
    John 5:25 - 29
25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.
    26 For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;
27 And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.
28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
    1 Peter 3:18 - 22
18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
    19 By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison;
20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.
21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:
22 Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.
    1 Peter 4:6
6 For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.
    1 Corinthians 15:29
29 Else what shall they do which are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why are they then baptized for the dead?

    CONTINUATION - Pages 11 to 14
    16. They are a works-based religion. They don’t know if they are going to go to heaven. There’s only a few spots in heaven:
We believe that we are saved by Grace and that Jesus Christ is the only way. But, as James (in the New Testament) says, Faith without works is dead. Also, many other Christians do not heed the words of CHRIST himself, when CHRIST said, John 14:15
15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
    Matthew 5:14 - 16
14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
    Matthew 7:20 - 21
20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
21 ¶ Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
If CHRIST said it, it must be important, but other Christians will quote Ephesians 2:8 - 9, but don't read verse 10 which says, "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. So, we are the workmanship of Jesus Christ to do good works, which God has ordained that we should walk in them (good works).
Non-LDS Christians seem to overlook what Christ and the Apostles said in the scriptures that show good works are important.
    James 1:22
22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. James 2:17 - 26
17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?
22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?
23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.
24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.
25 Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way?
26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
    Revelation 20:12 - 13
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
    Ephesians 2:8 - 10
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
    Romans 2:6
6 Who will render to every man according to his deeds:
    Romans 2:13
13 (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.
    1 John 2:3 - 6
3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are bin him.
6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
    Hebrews 11:6 - 11
6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
8 By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.
9 By faith he sojourned in the bland of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:
10 For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.
11 Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.
    1 Peter 1:17
17 And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man’s work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:
    Titus 3:8, 14
8 This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.
14 And let ours also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they be not unfruitful.
    Titus 2:13 - 15
    13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
15 These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.
    1 Corinthians 15:58
58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
The good works we strive to do is more about becoming; becoming more like our Heavenly Father, becoming more like our Saviour Jesus Christ, becoming more loving, kind, humble, becoming more of service to others, etc.
We actually believe that most people will go to 1 of 3 levels of heaven or to 1 of 3 kingdoms (Celestial, Terrestrial, and Telestial). Only a very few people will go to HELL (outer darkness, everlasting hell, lake of fire and brimstone, etc.)

As a Latter-day Saint, it was painful watching some of this, because you simply repeated inaccuracies that have been circulated by anti-Mormons who intend to mock and twist our beliefs. Instead of doing what almost every other Christian channel does and just read the same list of inaccurate facts as everybody else, you should have done your own research on our doctrine. May I suggest you invite Pastor Jeff from Hello Saints on your channel. His channel Hello Saints is the only accurate one I've seen about an Evangelical seeking to understand us. Thank you for issuing an apology in a different video. Also, there is a difference between Latter-day Saint members owning businesses and the Church owing businesses. Jet Blue and Marriott are not owned by the Church. They are owned by member families who started those companies. The Church does own a lot of real estate and media outlets. I'm not sure what boarding school in Utah you are referring to. The Church owns several colleges and universities in several states. Maybe you meant Brigham Young University?

No offense taken by this member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. You guys have nothing to repent for really. You were just doing a light-hearted kind of fun video that got some things right and some things wrong. No big woop.

if that the list of beliefs you think us Mormons believe no wonder you haven't made Mormon friends yet. 🤣we are a group of people who escaped a gynecide. (google the Mormon extermination order in Missouri)or(hawns mill massacre) regardless of whether we have kooky beliefs or not. someone who hate's you will always tell themselves a story to justify their actions. that list is the justification many used to justify their behavior toward Mormons. as a missionary I was spit on, yelled at, had a gun pulled on me, had fireworks town at me and many people would flash/moon us because of our beliefs in waiting till marriage to have sex. as a missionary I could expect to be yelled at, at any point in my day. this is the case for every member who served a mission, meaning that list will put us on the defense. because this list is a bastardization of what we really believe. some outright false. id rather you know my real beliefs then say you don't agree. rather then being judged by a statement said by someone who clearly dislikes us already. I think most people would be surprised at how similar our beliefs are, or how much we have in common. that said you guys seem cool id be your friend.

You skipped the best part which is we believe the crisis the son of God he paid for our sins we pray to the father in his name we don’t condemn you how can you be my brother and beliefs are different God in for Satan to be Satan God created everybody. You just talk like that to be shocking and you’re not really trying to make friends. I recommend you to watch Alexander David Alexander podcast that tells his truth about your 44,000 different evangelical churches the interpret the Bible however they want to without authority from God
