I don't have the JBL system, but I plan to replace the head unit to a touchscreen one. Do I need an amplifier for this upgrade kit or can I run it off the head unit?

Depending on the head unit you choose, many aftermarket head units are plenty powerful to power these speakers!

I have a 2005 4runner limited with JBL. do you have options like this for the JBL systems?

We sure do! You can select the JBL setup from the drop down menus on the product page!

I have the JBL system but the head unit was replaced with a Kenwood DDX371 head unit about 10 years ago and still have the factory speakers. Do I need to select the JBL option?

If your vehicle had the JBL system from factory, you will need to order the speakers for a JBL amplified truck.

So what if you do have the jbl option will they all still plug in correctly ?

Yep! Those setups just take different speaker adapters, and we wire each kit accordingly!
