We can debate all we want about Bron vs MJ, i like MJ more but if you think Bron the GOAT I respect it. The one thing though: If you have to explain the game of basketball to somebody, show your kids how to play, or answer who the face of basketball should be all time, it's Lebron. Plays the game the right way, can do anything on the floor, always getting teammates involved, no scandals, no family issues, a great guy in general. He should be the face of basketball: Jordan can be the better player between the two, but if I had to choose an individual to represent basketball in the eyes of others, it would probably be Bron.

I would select MJ over Lebron for the last shot of the game; however, I would select LeBron if I had to start a franchise. As great as MJ was, he only got to a championship under one coach and system. LeBron went to a championship at 22 years old with a roster that was worse than what MJ had under Doug Collins. MJ would not have gotten that Cavs roster to a title.
@tru3199 MJ was taught by Dean Smith, Bobby Knight (84 Olympics), and Phil Jackson w/Tex Winters and Red Kerr as assistants. These gentlemen are/were great basketball minds. What great coach did LeBron learn from? The dude averaged 20/5/5 in the league at 18. He has won titles under multiple coaches and systems. Each team he played on got worse after he departed while the Bulls was a phantom call away from beating the Knicks and advancing to the conference championship without MJ.

I think this is normal though. When you are not far removed from the game that competitive spirit is still alive and burning inside you. You have regrets and what if's on top of that. Some players it takes decades, but the more you are personally removed from your personal career in the game, the more objective you can be. True ballers can easily notice other true ballers, so it's no surprise they came around. Just shows the maturity and respect they have for the game and anyone who plays it at an high level. Now where is he in total turnovers, missed shots, missed free throws, and total games lost? If your gonna count longevity stats than compare all of them, not just the ones to go along your narrative.
