if embiid plays for France (which he most likely will i imagine), we should immediately look at myles turner for center. jarrett allen, mobley should be strong considerations as well. need real height and rim protection in addtion to all the versatility we have and switching we do.

Ppl are going to think it's crazy but the one big I would put on my team that can rebound and defend without asking for the ball is ANDRE DRUMMOND. The guy Still can give you quality minutes and he solves the rebound and big problem. It's not about necessarily the best it's about fit. Plus he will have something to prove. Coming off the bench or if you really want to go there I don't care about his antics but DWIGHT HOWARD is another veteran with everything to prove who can defend and rebound.

Why not Dame? 🤨He's a better scorer and shooter at the FIBA 3pt line than Ant & Jaylen which is what we need from someone off the bench.

Jabari would be a good young big who plays D and rebounds while moving around the floor...they mis-used Paolo (he should have got that Italy experience in, but if it isn't in you it isn't in you, especially with how the fanbase talks about "your kind")...There were a lot of young Bigs you could have added to rebound. (Sims from Knicks, Allen, Mobley, Looney, Duren, Whiteside)...the issue was coaching...Kerr had no vision or plan from what it looked like. You lose those 3 games all because you go under, have this BS switching scheme and refuse to play your rebounding bigs...
Couldn’t have said it better. Kerr had so much talent and refused to do anything with it. For the life of me, I can’t figure out why you wouldn’t use paolo similarly to Bam. Since he is so versatile. A massive waste. And don’t get me started on Kessler. JJJ shouldn’t sniff the Olympic team if they’re going to use him at the 5. The 4 maybe though.
Walker Kessler is not ready to contribute, but you have to include him because he's the long term solution to USAB's biggest lack, as most of the NBA's best bigs aren't American's. I think Kessler should be a staple for USAB's international pursuits for the next 12 yrs. I would have as the 12:
