- This bedtime stories compilation is 8 hours of continuous back-to-back sleep stories for grown ups featuring cats. There are bedtime stories from the perspective of cats and kittens and sleep stories featuring cats or kittens. This all-night cat sleep stories compilation has the soothing sound of rain in the background to help fill any silence between words, as I talk in a soft voice. This is a compilation of many of the sleep stories on my channel which feature cats and kittens, and so these stories span many years and have been recorded on many different microphones and in different situations, so my voice varies across the stories, also my voice has naturally deepened over the years. I have done my best to normalise the sound levels though.
This sleep stories compilation has a black screen throughout and no adverts.
All stories are original stories created by myself, and in many cases, created using ideas suggested by viewers.
I always recommend not listening to sleep bedtime stories in CZcams playlists due to potential adverts that could play between the stories which may wake you up and any sleep story 'CZcams' introductions. That is why I make these compilations, so that you can listen to the sleep stories back to back uninterrupted with no adverts and no introductions, just back to back bedtime stories all night long.

I dread bedtime. Without Dan I don’t think I’d ever sleep. My daughter calls me in my sleep and I’m halfway to her room before I realize she isn’t there. Dan soothes me back to sleep and I’m so grateful. Tomorrow is Sunday I always visit the cemetery on Sunday after church and Sunday night is peaceful but I’ll still need Dan.

Whenever I am anxious and can’t sleep, I listen to your soothing voice telling stories. I don’t remember much because I fall asleep! This morning, being Sunday, I lay here and listened to one of the cat stories. Thank you for all your work, it is always appreciated. I did go to subscribe one time but it was a small amount every month. I don’t like paying subscriptions and would rather just make a donation from time to time. I wasn’t able to do this. but watch out for the 5 Hour 9 minute time there’s a loud ad that will wake you and never fall back asleep happened last night didn’t recover.
That will hopefully be a one-off experience, there are no ads placed in this video by me as the creator, but like with all sleep stories channels, CZcams overrules is and sometimes places ads in our videos. Myself and other creators have been trying to address this with CZcams for years but CZcams won't stop doing it, so it is a risk people take with listening to any sleep story on CZcams and long videos especially as we are not maximising revenue by placing ads in our long videos. Apparently CZcams doesn't pay us creators when people see these ads because we didn't choose to have the ads show, so CZcams keeps all the revenue for the privilege of disrupting our viewers...

Dan.... you have changed your intro lately. It's nice but it's a bit what is the term ASMR. I don't know if that was your intention? Anyway I have always enjoyed your stories
It is a similar introduction to the one I used previously, I just re-recorded an introduction with me on screen, so that CZcams can see that it is me making these videos. My previous introduction was audio only. CZcams have been closing down other similar channels because the creator is never on screen and they accuse the channels of not making their own original content, so those channels creators have to then try to prove to CZcams that they are the person talking and that the content is their original content.
Before my previous introduction (where I mention liking, subscribing and Patreon etc) I went through a period with no introduction, and before that I had face to camera introductions, but in a 'normal' voice, because at the time I didn't realise people often listened to my stories back-to-back, and so assumed people are 'awake' at the beginning of my stories and then guided to sleep, and the most effective way to do this is to start the video with me 'awake' and gradually getting sleepier, so that my communication matches where the listener is at and guides them to sleep, more so than the words I am using. Once I learnt that many people listened to more than one story in a night I had to change or remove the introduction...
Do you like ASMR? I find it a relaxing experience so personally I was really happy when Dan started using this intro but I know some people are icked out by it.
This is not any good for sleeping trickling water had me up for the loo dom shame his voice is perfectly relaxing
Unfortunately the only thing that seems to get views here on CZcams is storytelling and rain videos, it make a very significant difference in viewing figures, so I have to post storytelling with rain here on CZcams, but on all other platforms the stories don't have rain...

CZcams have stuck a couple of Ads in here as I was startled out of sleep by that stupid Nelly song "Dilemma". I did manage to drift off again thankfully.
That is annoying. CZcams gives us creators the choice of where we have and choose not to have adverts, but then overrules us if they feel we aren't optimising the opportunities to made income. I have permanent messages on my account from CZcams trying to get me to put ads in my videos, stating that I'm missing out on additional revenue. When they put the ads I don't get the income from people seeing those ads...
