I never comment on videos but I had to say something here.... I've been listening to your sleep stories for a few months now and always really enjoy them, but I only came across these cat stories tonight.
My mother passed a few years ago, but when I was a little girl she used to make up bedtime stories about cats and kittens just like these to help me sleep! You really helped me heal a little tonight, I miss her and her stories so much and now I can listen to yours anytime. Thank you, largely trying to stay home. It would be helpful if more people took it seriously and kept distance from each other more. You try to keep your distance an someone will just walk right up to you in queues when food shopping etc or will make no effort to avoid brushing past you when out on footpaths etc.
Hi Dan. I live in Melbourne Australia. The government has applied shut down stage 2 in Victoria state. Most of us here now keep social distance of 2 arm width from each other in the public transport or when queuing in the restaurant to buy take away meals. Take care Dan ❤️
This is my favourite compilation. I have listened to it so many times and it still has a powerful relaxation effect. My favourite bit is when the hedgehog shows the kitten how to swim. Thank you Dan, I now look forward to going to sleep after years of insomnia.

Weird yes. But let me explain…
I was terrified of the dark; had night terrors when I was asleep, so I used to go nights without sleeping sometimes…THEN I remember my wonderful auntie Sophie telling me about how cats can see in the dark, & could sneak through small spaces, etc…& that I should curl up & pretend I was a cat, & how much they love to sleep, lol!
Amazingly, it worked great!
I didn’t like eating either, but I DID eat when I “was a cat”
So my mom would feed me in a little dish with the cat so that I would eat, cuz kitties needed to eat!🤷🏼♀️😆

There is a new, expanded version of this which I released recently which has timestamps. It is very difficult to retrospectively add timestamps because I would need to listen through the whole thing to get the timestamps...

There are a few thousand books in my room, mainly hypnosis (about 1000 of them), psychology, mindbody healing and mind related and the boomerang is a handmade left handed boomerang made for my grandad as payment for work he did for a client of his when he was an accountant. The person made a right-handed boomerang for my nan and a left-handed boomerang for my grandad...

Thank you, you can always turn your screen off, put your phone upside-down or use the mp3's instead...
Might also try just turning the brightness down? If I just want to listen I turn my tablet upside down but often at night my brain is overactive which makes it hard for me to stay focused. I find that, in these times, having the visual of him speaking and/or the sound waves really helps me stay focused on the track

Just to let you know there were 3 ads last night while listening.
That is annoying! Midroll and Post roll ads are turned off, so there shouldn't be any ads once the video starts. CZcams said last year that they have definitely fixed the problem where ads played during videos. I didn't post on CZcams until they confirmed that after two years of trying to get them to sort the issue out, they had finally sorted it. It the problem has returned again I will have to stop having my content on CZcams. Hopefully it was just a one-off. Fortunately, yours is the only comment I've received...

They aren't places by me, I have ads set to off. I would refresh the video, if they are still showing then obviously I always recommend viewers go to a different video for now. CZcams's changes where they overrule creators and put ads in videos if a creator has set ads in videos to off is very annoying. I've complained a lot over the last 18 months or so to CZcams about this whole they were trialling the idea that they were trialling because they said it 'makes more money' and then near the end of last year they announced on their own channel about how the trial has been successful in making more money by putting ads in videos where creators have the setting for ads in videos turned off (which makes it pointless giving us the option), that they are rolling it out across more videos and more frequently.
The Honest Guys back in about November did a video about this where they recommend that to get around this subscribers could sign up to their premium membership to access the videos with no ads. I have most of my content on Spotify, Apple Music etc and on my own podcast to try to give people other ways of listening to my tracks without ads popping up that I don't want and never placed there.
Any time you get ads in mind, The Honest Guys, Jason Stephenson, Michael Seeley, etc videos this aren't places by the creators of the meditations they are placed by CZcams overruling the creator because they creator had the ads turned off and they want more money, so turn them on without the creators permission. I've told CZcams how this negatively impacts on mine and others images and reputations and that they need to stop with this, but I just get ignored. I suspect many creators who make other content that has lots of midroll ads are in the same situation that it isn't them placing the ads there, it just stands out more when it is in a meditation video it clearly shouldn't be in.
It's a video, I'm not closing my eyes and it's very unnerving you sitting there in a room with a ridiculous amount of books in the middle of the day...
