Actually, if Superman had the Speed Force just like Barry, The Flash wont be the "fastest man alive" anymore. Superman holds himself back from reaching speeds that could potentially destroy his surroundings. Barry's Speed Force however prevents him (Barry) from annhiliating everything and everyone in his surroundings, even though he runs/moves faster than Superman. The Flash may be the fastest here on earth, but he cant outrun Superman once they race in outer space.

Yes he can outrun superman in outer space in flash the human race he outran instantaneous travel which guess what..... was in space. Flash said that if he were ever to outrun his potential the universe would collapse. Superman can't and will never be able to outrun flash, in fact superman is slower then green lantern!

+ryan sutherland I agree with you. In that moment. The Flash ran millions of light years (I believe) in such a small amount of time, there isn't no way to name the amount of time. He ran that less than a planck second. To put that into perspective. . . the speed of light can travel around the earth 7 times in one second. In one planck second, the speed of light would barely have enough time to get to one end of an atom to the other end. That is how fast the Flash truly is.
One of my favourite Flash's moment is when he brings a letter from Thomas Wayne to his son, in Flashpoint.

What’s sucks is that Reverse Flash pulled up, beat Batman in his own crib in 20 secs, and then ripped it apart. :(
#1 is probably one of the greatest moments/sacrifices in all of comics, not afraid to say I get a little misty eyed when thinking about it.

***** fighting someone isn't a sacrifice, especially if you can draw infinite power and can escape death (which he did, i remember years ago when i was younger on the news it said a comic revealing superman had died then came back with more powers, proves its not really a sacrifice.) This seems to show that the flash sacrifices himself not to fight but to give up everything to protect everyone

@@DanielLopez-ob9jz Only because at the time, Wally was more liked by the readers and they accepted him as Barry's successor. Not to mention he soon became protagonist of the series that invented most of DC's speedster lore.
when flash beat instant teleportation by running across the universe in 1 plank instant (the time it takes 1 photon to reach 1 plank length which is the smallest unit of measurement in our universe)

Where is the Flashpoint Paradox? Flash is the reason we have the New 52. Also, Flash is the only person to outrun a Black Lantern Ring during the selection process in the Blackest Night storyline. I can't believe this list failed to mention those two things and this list came from DC?....smh.

Anyway, I would say number nine is quite high on my personal list. When I read that a couple of years ago I was floored. Francis Manapul did it cracking job with the Flash.
This was Barry's Best moments video, not Top 10 fastest Flash moments.
Where was Wally saving half a million Koreans in a single microsecond.
Wally racing instant teleportation across the galaxy.
Wally activating every radio on Earth in single Zeptosecond.
Wally outrunning The Big Bang.
Wally covering every inch of the world in a single second while fighting Zolomon.

In Justice League Unlimited it was Awesome seeing The Flash running so Fast that he found the Speed Force.
In Divided We Fall Season 1 Episode 25.
That moment was epic. Was expecting it on this list but looks like they stuck to comics. That was the first time i was introduced to the speed force.

The conclusion of Flashpoint; his reluctant decision to reset the timestream by stopping himself from preventing his mother's murder at the hands of Zoom. That moment with his mother explaining why he had to do this and encouraged by Nora to do so and how to fix things (focusing on himself to reach the point of impact).

He didn't have the means to stop the nuke itself, so he went through every street, building and room of the city. He carried thousands of people several miles away as the nuke was exploding.

'The Flashpoint Paradox ', Barry has to run fast enough to break the time barrier again and actually stop an earlier instance of himself from saving his mom from being murdered. And its all to keep a paradoxical time shift from causing Armageddon.

George Miles So basically you're saying 75% of what Grant Morrison and Mark Millar wrote was plot convenience. This isn't Crisis Barry Allen I'm talking about, this is Wally West. An entire story arch can't just be plot convenience. When he was fighting Zoom, he was able to instantly accelerate to lightspeed without any hindrances. He has outsped a blue sun charged Superman casually to time him with the former being confident that he could keep up Hell, the entire story I was talking about was him constantly out-speeding light.

what about when he siphoned the worlds kinectic energy coupled with the enrgy of Hundreds of thousands of people on earth all running at the same time in order to beat a group of omnipotent gods across the universe beating them and their method of instantaneous teleportation, thus saving the universe.

Those cosmic gamblers didnt agree on destroying the "universe" when the speedsters lost. They were only gonna destroy the Earth. Nonetheless, beating those nigh omnipotent beings was hard, and yet The Flash outran something almost un-outranable

well people like batman and superman are still here 75 years later, they may have changed alot over the years but they're still here, so hopefully these guys will probably still be around until technology or somethin catches up and make what they do obsolete :)

You forgot when in the New 52 Comics Barry was running after Kid Flash and they both ran so fast they lost their gravitational pull whichs means they outran gravity. And that time Flash beats Instant teleportation in a race across the universe.

#4, That one panel where you see him absolutely toast Superman after the line about the tie's being for charity is without a doubt my favorite Flash moment. But, to be fair, any moment when Superman loses at something is a favorite of mine :D

+ztslovebird May be awesome; but it can easily be overshadowed by these 10 moments. He really didn't need to go around the globe to hit Luthor. Since most kids watch these cartoons, it brings more drama/emotion to them.

This is why flash is my fav, his sacrifice eclipses everyones in both marvel and dc, and Barry is just a great character overall, i love how people underestimate his power amd underappretiate his character, so when they do find out more about him, the shock on their faces and their utter speechlessness is priceless lol
See, when I was young, I thought Superman was the most OP character in the world of comics. Now, since I've taken some interest in the Flash, I have to say, if he ever turns evil, everyone can be dead at the same time and we'll never know. The closest thing to that was in the Justice League when Lex's minds wakes up inside the Flash.

Harris Britton Still, he can run so fast that he literally breaks the time barrier, what I refer to as the reality barrier, and the dimension barrier. This in comparison is child's play.
But what about when Wally evacuates the city to save them form the nuclear bomb? Someone did the maths and worked out that he would have had to be travelling 17 trillion times the speed of light to do so. How can any other flash moment be faster than that? Cooler maybe but not faster
There is one when he runs across the whole universe and wins a race against a teleporter, Flash was faster than an instantaneous movement, there's another one when he squeezes 1000 years off a second! I think those feats are more impressive than the one you say but there are not many other feats that compare to that one. Oh there's also one when he fights Zoom, they touch every single inch of the surface of Earth while fighting, the fight ends in a fraction of a second. That one is sick too.

He levitates and run through space by the same way any other character flies and moves while being in space and with help of the speed force.
DC is a multiverse, so there are many universes inside of it. That's why he can reach the end of the universe also the multiverse is surrounded by the Source which is an impenetrable wall that only the highest entities can pass.
I don't know how he did it, he just did it with insane speed. Go look at the scans there are a few about that time when he surpassed instant travel.

I love the part at the end of Flashpoint, comic book only, when Barry visits his mom one last time before fixing the time stream. So sad, yet so awesome.

Hasn't it been stated that Wally (and I guess Barry) can achieve any theoretical speed, that their actual top speed is limitless? And hasn't the Flash at one point literally been everywhere at once? And I remember him saving every single person from a nuke blast at some point :D
Yeah, Barry and Wally are able to perceive and calculate faster than an attosecond. At that speed, a light partial would have only traveled from one end of a molecule to the other. It's truly amazing.
And the bomb feat is right. A nuke was about to hit a city, so flash literally got all of the citizens out as it was exploding. That is incredible.
Since The speedsters are all fueled by the speedforce and the speeedforce is fueled by speedsters running, basically the faster they run the faster they’ll be able to go, so yeah it’s basically unlimited power, you just have to i guess be able to wield it.
I love the scene where all of the Flashes push Superboy Prime into the Speed Force. That was such a great moment.

Infinite mass punch is probably my favorite flash moment. The Flash runs so fast the when he punches something it hits with the power of a White Dwarf Star.
Faster than instantaneous is my favourite. Also his fastest ever speed since he was so fast he was no longer traveling at a 'speed' as he reached trans-time velocity.

When The Flash ran so fast to stop anti-Monitor and save the universe it made my cry and gave me chills
Surprised that Wally saving every resident of a Korean city -- (500,000 if I recall) from a nuclear blast AS IT WAS EXPLODING by running all of them out of the bomb's range wasn't mentioned. Sounds goofy, but the way it was written in Joe Kelly's JLA run was pretty impressive.

Jedidiah Amos Yes Barry Allen creates the speed force every step he takes, wally was the one that outran teleportation,so Bart Allen is the one that can steal the speed force and the speed force is split up between all the speedsters so only Bart Allen could technically get unlimited speed so it wasn't Barry that could absorb the speed force and also Barry didn't run as fast as teleportation you are talking about 3 different flashes
Tanner K oh OK. But many speedsters need the speedforce and Barry creates it so.....but varient comics said barry can also steel speed as in the comic. Anyway they all are strong and fast. I think they are equal. Their powers is only limited to their will.
How about the time when he saved an entire city worth of people (in Korea?) from a nuclear blast, got them all away at a safe distance from it, and no one died. Pretty impressive and quick.

No one has yet to mention the end of Young Justice when it takes the combined efforts of Bart, Barry, AND Wally to save the world, Wally giving his life in the process. That episode always gets me chocked up.
Is it really a spoiler alert that Barry died saving the Universe- I mean, CIE happened ages ago, and is one of THE MOST FAMOUS MOMENTS IN COMIC BOOK HISTORY.Even Non-comic book readers know about that.

The flash had always been one of my favorite heros
I would have also put in the finale of Flashpoint where Barry runs back in time to stop his past self from saving his mother, and the part in the JLU tv show where Flash runs around the world multiple times to build up enough speed to punch Luthor-Brainiac and then vibrates fast enough to separate the two, but gets sucked into the Speed Force.

He died, but didn't. When he destroyed the anti monitor he ran so fast that it was not his death but him merging with the Speed Force. That said, he also created the Speed Force, and it was revealed back in the day that he became a lightning bolt that struck younger Barry Allen (pre Flash).
One of my favorite moments was when Wally saved his children from their accelerated aging condition.

i love the flash, he is one of my favorite dc characters because he is comedic relief and the heart of JL.
when i thought we need flash movie we finally get it but with ezra miller who is talented actor but he isnt fit for flash not in the least, he feels wrong and what happened to fan favorites bradley cooper and chris pine.
his casting disappointed me and adding momoa and gadot in the mix just pisses me off with dc and wb that i gave up from their so called cinematic universe.
i dont care anymore because i lost my faith with these ridiculous casting decisions
I also think Bradly Cooper is the best choice for the Flash man.
cooper and pine were my picks for green lantern and flash so i dont care who should play which character because both of them can play both characters

Anna Hathaway as cat woman ,, . They have proven you have to wait til the movie come out to judge .,

hugh jackman became academy award nominated actor and he was in theater before wolverine and that means something, gadot, momoa nor miller did theater. heath ledger was also oscar nominated actor before the dark knight, michael keaton was over 20 years ago and chris evans was well known before cap and now he owns that role and as for dc's ridiculous casting choices gadot nor momoa will never get an oscar nomination, they are unknown and not very good actors. flash, aquaman, ww and green lantern need big actors like chris pine, bradley cooper, charlie hunnam and for ww anne hathaway, gemma arterton or someone who is a real actress

This may not be one of his fastest moments but I have to say my favourite Flash moment was in Blackest Night. He was a perfect fit for the blue ring of hope.
