This watch comes complete with 2 hairs, a fingerprint and some dust. You have a very steady hand though.

I'm surprised someone noticed! You got good eyes brother. I didn't show it but I had to disassemble the module again to fix that during this process. 😅

Can you fix a case? The part case bezel where the screws ACTUALLY thread into snapped off. I got a ridiculous quote to fix it.

How easy would it be to change the face of that watch with the regular one? I have both and I want a positive display and all black bezel/strap but with the gold ring that the green one has instead of the red one.
It will be a really difficult job. The face has the solar panel attached to it. Removing that part is the hardest, small mistake could make the solar panel breaks and irreplaceable.

I've seen reports that the plastic lugs on the case where the strap attaches to can break off. Have you ever seen this happen to a rangeman before? It has me slightly worried about my own rangeman.
Haven't seen one in person. Most of the incidents occurred when they customised that Rangeman with third party parts. If you use the original band, you're good.
Mine snapped with stock strap and bezel no mods. My wrists are large, so I always left it on the 3rd from last hole but it still snapped. I was lifting dumbbells when it snapped on both ends I can only guess lifting caused my wrists to swell. And put too much lateral stress on the lugs. I bought another rangeman hoping it was a fluke. We will see. I swapped my old positive display module from the broken one into my blackout so I can have a spare module too bad I can't find an old case to build back the other rangean
Instead of using plastic in the casing why don't they use alminium
There's a metal plate built in the plastic case to reinforce it. You could see some of it around the solar panel. Every G-Shock watch have it actually, not just this one.

Why you dont make video dissamembly solar glass..i think we need most for clean up "fog issue" after few time you use(month or year) Gshock,protrek,etc. I once break the solar glass G9300..now my mudman dont have solar power,i use regular battery CR1616
