      @@Paulfred I am surprised the straps resisted so long. I have the simpler version of this watch but I do not really wear it. Because I have another watches, among them 5 g shocks so far. Every time the last one isn't the last one. 😅

    This video is brilliant, exactly what I was after, I’ve got this watch in GW-9110-1JF with the little red bits on the grid bezel at the bottom of the grid bezel that I’m not keen on, now i know how to take the shroud off I can paint them with hard enamel paint, they are only small sections, thanks very much for showing how to remove shroud 👍🏻

    Can I ask what glue you used and how you got the metal inner bezel straight so the lettering isn’t lopsided? Was that just by eye or is there a guide like on a SKX chapter ring so you know it’s correct? Thanks very much.

    I have a GW-9000-1 (five eyed monster) with heavy fogging. Is removing the front glass my only option to have access to the part with the grids? Thanks

    • @gshockhighfashion
      @gshockhighfashion  Před 2 měsíci +1

      Unfortunately, yes. You'll need a heatgun to soften the solar panel glass, right before you press it out with glass remover.
      Even so, there's no guarantee you won't break the solar panel. Risky job.

      @simplewareable Před 2 měsíci

      @@gshockhighfashion yeah, I completely forgot about the solar panel. I guess I'll just keep it as is. Thanks for taking the time to reply, Sensei.

    Is it me or is this module constructed in a similar way to that of the GW9400?

    Hello! How to put back the spring which shows in 2:49? I don't know how to put it back, and I suspect that because of that, all the buttons in my g-shock have no response...

    Hi Mr. Highfashion. Can you tell me please if that knurled upper bezel is also titanium? Or is just grey coloured plastic? I like your videos. Well done.

    • @gshockhighfashion
      @gshockhighfashion  Před 2 lety

      Definitely not plastic.
      I can't be sure if it is titanium or stainless steel though.

      @@gshockhighfashion Hi, thanks for that. I ended up going the cheaper route with that model, but I appreciate your reply. As everything else is Ti you'd hope that part is too. Thanks.

    My gulfman g-9100 when i disassembly the module,the button operation stuck😪

    • @gshockhighfashion
      @gshockhighfashion  Před 3 lety

      The button shaft e-clip mist have been stuck/hooked on the side metal panel (one that touch the board at each press).
      This happens all the time when a movement aren't properly align or insert back into the case.

    It's not water residue. It's evaporated oil. I end up getting that "fog" in ALL my Solar Casio watches 😞😞
