    I was doing keto for 2 years, now carnivore for almost 2 years... I had my hormones tested, and I'm in the middle of menopause...😂 I had no idea!! I literally have no symptoms! ❤

    Hi Maria and Craig, I was one of the people who fell into the high fat protocol, I have gained 25 lbs and am now stalled. I am back and here to stay as your program is the best for me.

    Love when Maria explains a little more about what to eliminate. Sometimes hearing "plants" doesn't register everything to a lot of people. I thought I was doing ok on keto, not realizing almond flour can cause some major issues. Almond flour is generally thought of as a seed/nut not a plant, just as an example. I have taken magnesium glycinate and still feel like my legs will cramp along with malate. Natural calm has worked for years maybe I'll try the L-theronate? Castor oil is amazing for the skin, helps with sun damage and wrinkles. Unfortunately, no eggs for me, I get joint pain.

    Just joined the challenge! I lost 90 lbs on strict keto, stayed there for 5 years, then found "keto ice cream" during covid and gained 15 lbs. Went carnivore and gained another 15 lbs. I keep trying to fast, but can't make it past 48 hrs. Doing OMAD when I can't fast. I'm 68, was doing crossfit pre-pandemic, trying to get back to exercising, I started a dance class, it's not like xfit, but a start. Nothing is budging my weight gain though.😢

      It's pretty harsh, especially coming at me in all caps on a public forum like this. I don't really owe anyone an explanation. But I broke my nose, I am still healing, and I had a CO2 laser treatment done on my face.

    I didn't realize scented candles would hinder my health and carnivore journey. No more scented candles. Question...Are essential oils in a diffuser okay? Today is my 2 year COVID anniversary, and Carnivore is the right choice. So glad I just found your channel. I'm treating a Candida overgrowth issue, vasculitis that I will need prednisone for until my body heals. Thank You and will be watching you all the time!

    I am wondering how many people you have helped with Epilepsy? you have mentioned helping people with this diet for Epilepsy. I was left with seizures/Epilepsy after a head injury caused through DV in 2005 & stopped meds in 2012. I have been researching keto/carnivore for 18 months & have been on Ketovore for 1yr. It has been hard to know who to get support from & I am presently waiting to speak with a Denise Potter through the Charlie Foundation. I have listened to a lot of the Drs talks to understand what this whole diet is about.

      Then that is a bit contrary to a weight loss goal. You want a bit more dietary fat in that case.

    Question on the dairy piece: I am healthy, no problems whatsoever really, I would like to lose about 15 lbs of fat. But in order to hit my protein goals (145 grams per day), I need to supplement with whey protein powder and eat low fat yogurt and cottage cheese. Is this ok? Will I still lose weight? What else can I do to get that protein in while keeping fat very low?

      Dairy slows weight loss in most if not all people. Plus I do not recommend whey protein at all unless you are a competitive body builder or something like that. It is too quickly absorbed into the blood stream causing blood sugar spikes, and it is also not satiating because it isn't a complete protein. Go 100% dairy free and meet your protein goal by prioritizing lean animal proteins.

      I'm not really familiar with that, but a well formulated ketogenic or carnivore diet is low inflammation and definitely doesn't hurt :)

    How much evening primrose do you recommend and also what to do for the 2 am waking up. It is horrible and I’m always tired! Any help is appreciated!
