  • Summer 2023 Giveaway! - • Sigma OOO Review and Demo This is a budget-friendly way to bring your tube amp to life! Yes, the original King of Tone has 2 channels, but they are identical with dip switches. This is like having a "Pring of Tone," but you can use it to boost the distortion.
    Incredible value and versatility.
    From their website:
    DISTORTION
    Based on SUHR RIOT Distortion ,The distortion is a versatile high-gain distortion pedal with the sonic characteristics and touch sensitivity of a high quality 100 watt tube amplifier.The distortion will transform a super clean amp into an authoritative rock tone that inspires all of your favorite riffs.
    OVERDRIVE
    Based On Analogman king of tone overdrive. so you can use the full range of the DRIVE knob and it has a little more drive at the top than a normal gain KOT.
    The mode is improved though, for a louder, stronger distortion sound.
    FX LOOP
    The SEND and RETURN jacks let you expand your board with other pedals the FX LOOP point is positioned between the AMP And Booster modules
    DELAY
    Based on Mad professor deep blue delay.The delay is a natural sounding digital/analog delay, with the analog direct signal path.containing just the basic delay features;Delay Time, Delay Level and Repeat controls. It was designed to work as an ambiance delay; like that of a vintage tape echo and the repeat, the formation was specifically designed to allow easy setting and less critical setting of delay time.
    REVERB
    Based on Malekko Omicron SPRING Reverb,the Spring Reverb Emulator sports a dwell circuit that gives it nearly bottomless depth and a Mix control for wet/dry.
    Specification:
    Power: 9V DC center negative
    Dimensions:230(L) x65(W) x35(D) mm
    Weight: 510g
    True bypass for eliminating any signal interference when all switched off

    Good pedal. Great idea and turns my practice amps into a effects loop equipped beast. Love it. Prince of Tone, Shur Riot, Mad Professor Delay and Spring Reverb and effects loop for 45$ WOW😮

    Worths the money, great sounds. Less than $50. Please teach us how to set the amp and fx for the songs like "Highway Star and etc.," Gracious.

    Nice review. One thing: you guys should have opened the pedal. Inside there are two dipswitches, one for more gain/less output v.v, the other one works with the trimpot, shifting the mid/high range.
    This is a very nice pedal for a ridiculous price. I'm a professional guitarplayer for over 40 years, I had and have lots of stuff, both expensive and affordable, but I still am amazed about how much good stuff you can buy for little money nowadays. Lately I use a Mosky Golden Horse (wich you can buy online for under $25) as a treblebooster on my main board, that consists of mostly more expensive pedals. It's one of the many Klon-clones and it works great. I got me two, because the Silver Horse somehow went dead, probably because of a problem with the power supply. I also have a "affordaboard" that I use for jams, rehearsals, as a spare etc. with only a couple of affordable (what else...? 😄 ) pedals, but I think I'll get me this Mosky SOL918. No patch cables and no Pedaltrain needed. 😉

      Thanks for all that, bro. Just wanted to say that I’m thankful there’s still at least one guy out there who will take the time to carefully type his thoughts and share something of value. I’ll be looking inside mine to check that out the day it comes in the mail.

    Ackchyually... the KING OF TONE has 2 adjustable sides. if you only have one, then it's a PRINCE OF TONE.

      @@justinbishopmusic Its super versatile and definitely can be a fuzz as well!

      @@justinbishopmusic hi, is od and dist good even without noise gate/suppressor/reducer?

    • @justinbishopmusic
      @justinbishopmusic  Před 9 měsíci

      @ hi just now seeing this…I’d say it depends on your goals. If you’re playing live with a band, then you don’t need a noise gate. If your goal is to record, then I’d look at Neural DSP plug-ins which have excellent built in noise gate and all effects.

    Ya, well I ain’t got no Eddy stuff at all. So the way I see it, your Eddy stuff is actually pretty fcking good. But I do have the 918 coming in the mail! I hope it comes with Eddy stuff.

    Shur Riot is a modded blues breaker too. Just more gain. Prince of Tone is a blues breaker too modded.

    Much of that tone is coming from the valve amp. I say 95%.

      Could be.
      It is a good pedal. Not a fan of the Shur Riot but will the Prince of Tone as a Boost it's ok on this pedal. Good for turning a practice amp into a bigger amp with a effects loop. Brilliant. And for 45$

    Can i use it for my bass guitar?

    • @justinbishopmusic
      @justinbishopmusic  Před 7 měsíci

      It's voiced for guitar, but the effects should work on bass or any instrument with 1/4" output.

  • @ymelfilm
    @ymelfilm Před 7 měsíci

    hm, not the best sounding pedal out there. The Cube Sugar either but it has at least a cabinet simulator, looper and booster too.

    • @justinbishopmusic
      @justinbishopmusic  Před 7 měsíci +1

      It does a lot of things for the price. Buy yes, I do prefer separate pedals for everything. EHX does great and are inexpensive used.

    • @ymelfilm
      @ymelfilm Před 7 měsíci

      @@justinbishopmusic I have separate pedals, a stomp xl and the cube sugar. The last one turned to be the less cumbersome to gig, sacrifising tone quality though.
