Happy Thanksgiving 🦃. Contracts.. I don't actually use a quote unquote contract but I send all new customers an estimate thru Yardbook they must approve before I do any work. The same goes for leaf cleanup Only customers also. New leaf cleanup customers must pay 50% the day we arrive prior to any equipment coming off the trailer. Got burned for a 500$ clean up with a new customer once. If they are Weekly mow customers I know their payment history so I don't require prepayment on extr work. I do still send estimates through.

Happy Thanksgiving Bro. You're good, because I stick to my gumption. No work means no work. Those folk, longtime clients or not, know and knew they don't want to be hassled at this time before a holiday. So it bewhoved them to have had their yards done earlier. Some leaves on the ground is better than all. I do my lawn, over 4 acre front yard with over 150 trees. Try keeping that leaf free. Gather the most. Later on mulch the crap out the rest, and let the chip go as nature goes. You're good, because my business phone would have a pre recorded message wishes all Happy Thanksgiving and see you after My Family and I enjoy the holiday gathering like you all are. And enjoy. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. Take it from a Der man, all money isn't good money when it takes you away from your family, friends and come on, some good rest. Enjoy my Friend....

So you charge just has much but mulch them in. When I’m done you can’t even tell and you’re feeding your lawn. I’ve done it this way for about 20 years and I never had a customer complain. Just my opinion
