I don't quite know for sure, but a lot of people have looked into the TFS' relationship with Toei & Funimation considering their involvement in both Dragonball Xenoverse 1 & 2 plus having the opportunity to work on Dragonball Z Kai. Based on a good a great number of dialogue interactions between characters, many leaned towards the possibility that the guys behind TFS were given the opportunity to work on the script for Fighterz before hit the Beta.
Right? Cell’s expressions early on in this video reminded me of their Cells.
That "Ohh, really?" at 1:33 made me realize that Cell also "bullied" Mr. Satan by backhanding him into that mountain during that Cell Games tournament, and Buu still has no idea.

Kid Buu's clone fell asleep, funny how his clone is more like the original with personality than the other lifeless ones. Cell's reaction was priceless, makes me wish that they had the real Kid Buu in the story even more because of how that might work. Lol, Fat Buu. Gero is kind of a stupid name.

Brian Melendez yea they dropped the ball hard. FighterZ while it has a character pass I would say that I’m not angry due to the fact that we have had absolutely no showing of at least 1 character. DLC can be bad at times like BBCTB. But sometimes it can be handled well(depending on whether or not the characters make it worth). Although SFV arcade edition pissed off everyone who purchased o.g SFV.
8 characters for the season pass isn't bad in my book. I guess maybe i was softened a little by the utter bullshit EA tried to pull. Looking at that it's hard to get mad at a simple season pass.
At least they aren't lootboxing every single playable character and throttling progression to unlock them, while at the same time offering p2w equippables for them in varying tiers.
I will say a 50/50 split on the dlc characters is a little much. Especially if they have the gall to actually show characters already made that are in it.
Overall do I wish DLC didn't exist? Yep, but I can also say im not angry about DBZF at all.

Cell voice actor is the best.
Out of all the dbz villains, cell has to be the kindest one. I say that because unlike freiza, he allowed the z-fighters to train for a few days before the cell games instead of having them right away. He was still evil mind you, but was the kindest villain.

I mean , the game takes place after ressurection f , so frieza does have his golden form. So frieza doesn't really have much to worry about. Cell on the other hand... well it is stated that he did train a little , so he is probably at super saiyan 3 level.

The people who made this game clearly really liked Cell's character. He has some of the longest and most original unique dialogue scenes, mostly involving him roasting everyone, and is the only character in the Story Mode who manages to regain enough control over himself after the Link thing to regain his original power on his own
He still gets beaten by Frieza though when it was made clear he had TRAINED

In all his forms, Buu more or less has had the mentality of a child-- prior to being reformed by Hercule, this made him dangerous because (like a child) he had no concept of right or wrong, no sense of empathy, and prioritized instant gratification for all his whims and wants. Unlike Cell or Frieza, who at least _consider_ the potential repercussions of their actions before taking them, Buu would simply do whatever he wanted with no regard for the harm, destruction, or pain he could cause. He was essentially a petulant, tantrum-prone child with near-godlike powers. A deadly combination no matter how you slice it.

Buu actually did get some level of maturity and intelligence after absorbing piccolo.
