- The latest Fox Unplugged shares an inside look at the G.O.A.T.’s continued commitment to professional and amateur racing as we document the weekend of Daytona Supercross and the Ricky Carmichael Amateur Supercross. Race day has changed a bit since Ricky’s retirement from professional racing, but the pressure to deliver remains starting with track design, commentating, and providing a platform for the future of the sport.

This is definitely my favorite of all the "Unplugged" Ryan, Avery, Jordan you guys did a killer job on this one!!!
Love ya dude
Really like the unplugged stuff, just wish it was an hour longer
I second what this guy says 👍🏻
Ff5
@@sprenky72 me too
So much respect for RC, still putting in maximum effort the man is a legend
I had chills this entire video. Even after retirement he still seems bigger than life.
Lots of appreciate for the rawness of these videos
Love the "L" cuts and appreciate the audio side of the production! Great vid!
What a terrific spokesman for this great sport - his work-ethic is outstanding!
This was so good just wish it was way way longer
Whoever is shooting/editing this needs a big fucking raise
We’ll let the big dogs know. Thanks man👊🏼
Nothing but respect, for Ricky...🇺🇸👍
I always love these unplugged edits. R.C. Has been my hero since I was 12 so I’m a little bias but this is my favorite. The mtb vids are sweet too though I’m not as familiar with the athletes. Keep em coming
Thank you! Done 👊🏼
Really love how RC is always trying to improve no matter what he's doing GOAT...
He is the GOAT in MX/SX, no doubt. But IMO, many of his ideas are very amateur. He does not understand the basis/premise, of the ideas that he proposes. Some of them are very very bad ideas.
Great video. If there's one thing I wish the live broadcasts included it would be the opening ceremonies. They're so much fun in person and someone who never gets to go to a supercross is really missing out on them.
I can understand the time restraints on live television but with the Peacock streaming. I can’t under stand why they can’t show it. Going to the race the opening just pumps you up ans gets you excited for the race. They should show it
Exactly. On the stream there's so much wasted time. There's often 15-20 minutes of downtime between races and the filler content they have really isn't great. They could easily squeeze in the opening ceremonies
Great job Team 🦊
RC brings that cool 90's cool to people vibe and love for moto that we have.Ricky is a great spokesperson for moto
I wish this was longer
Unplugged intro song is Ghosttown by Aaron Rice for anyone wondering 🤙keep the unplugged videos coming Fox!!!
Absolute MX LEGION.
What a man for the sport. ✌️
The Legend. The GOAT...
So well shot! Awesome work you guys 👍
Bro, the production quality is AMAZING! NFL doesn’t even put out shit this dynamically edited and color graded. Backing scores too 👌 .Expert branding. Fuck.
Damn you guys nail this stuff and the production quality is off the charts. You should do some of these like a damn movie because I’d pay to watch them! Keep it up!
Same here the videography and editing is beyond good , it's exactly what I want to see I have no complaints and would also happily pay for a full movie or something like that
Really appreciate the words. Thanks so much fam🙏🏼❤️
I was at Daytona in 2003 when RC won. It was my first race.
What a legend!
Absoute legend!
One of the very best motocross riders ever and a true gentleman much love and respect RC a true legend
One of the best ever? Who had a better career?

I love these videos!
No one has ever given more to their sport. If MXers read books, this would be the only one on the shelf.
Yeaaaaaa real cool video,....
My best wishes from South America Colombia Medellín, (Ant)...
the 8 minutes shorter of my entire life! Nice job Ryan and the Fox Crew!
Thanks my dude👊🏼
Met him when I was a teenager on a company trip with my dad about 15 years ago. We were at the race track in Louden NH, the race car track. I was lucky enough to get his autograph on the hat I was wearing. Still have the hat in a glass cabinet of course Lol..... I've been riding since I was 8 and grew up watching McGrath, Emig and others and then Carmichael once he came into the scene. Them guys exploded supercross back then, everyone knows who them to are. Lol
PLEASE make a video just like this about James next, great video
Ricky is still so damn cool. I want to see him on the green bike with the iconic orange gear!
I wonder if Ricky felt like he was racing again. Like being nervous before the starting gate. 👍🏁
RC commented on his video with Emig that, he hadn’t even ridden in months and he was nervous about the jumps. He said he felt a lot of pressure. But I guess when you’re RC he pulled it off no problem
@@utahdesertrider1806 yeah I couldn't remember what he had said on that episode of real talk about it. But that was cool
It doesn't matter, this is da GOAT!!!! But I have to say....seeing him back on a Kaw is like seeing Bubba back on one!!!
that's how you know you've done it, is that you just have 2 letters on your jersey, your initials, and everyone knows who you are.
Cool clip, be even cooler to give the guy that got jacked a shout out, maybe do a link on this platform to a go fund or that rider down program, keep moto family rooted, and not too big for its boots. Guess when trying to grow a sport you can't show the downfalls like the total cost of everything : fun ratio.
It is just a fantasy to think this sport will grow. 90% of bike sales are gone due to the high coast of a bike and other expenses. May be we can turn that around if we stopped demanding space ships for a dirt bike. But the 2 biggest factors of pricing the industry out of the market was the 1986 production rule and the 4-stroke forced on the industry by global environmentalists, (of which the FIM was at the head of both). Outside intervention always raises prices, and used car sales are way up too.
I don't know if the sport will still exist decades from now, but I know, no kid like me, (back in my starting days), can afford to do it ever again.
Can always find a way, and we don't have too buy the bs they are selling using our egos to trick us into thinking we need bikes that look like ones we see our favorite super stars riding at the pro races.
😎👍👍👍👍
Hope to see Carmichael back at matterley basin , uk again at the MX track
I love the old camera
I will be on tv one day
In the beginning and for decades, Supercross was based on outdoor tracks, brought into a stadium.
Notice how the tracks have changed since the SX video games came out.
SX tracks today are based on video games.
I could build every FIM SX track with Microsoft Motocross Madness2 back in 2000, with its "track editor", using the 4 or 5 options it offered.
I wanna meet the people who disliked this video. They must be really positive people. 😂 This is amazing. Great job by Fox Racing and Jordan Hoover who likely did some work on this bad boy. 👊🏼 great stuff
Ricky was looking slim! We all mis u racing! Always fun to see him still throw his leg over a bike and crank out a big whip!
🦊 🤙🏻
Way to short felt like they were just building up into the film. Than it ended lol
🇧🇷
Ricky I respect you to the highest degree. I've watched you since you were on the blue and green KX 60. I was riding 80'$ but way to big but I really learned on that turd RT-180 and I hung with 80 racers but when I got my first 125 97 YZ I really don't know how anyone didn't have leg pump because that model year the seat was like concrete lol but then I returned it and bought a 99' YZ 125 and the rest is lost history. I hope I made the sport funniest person to laugh at which laughter saves lives but Jason Falcon I'm getting back and looking for a sponser I bet if you Travis and Kevin would help me out I would prove my 10 new hardcore Freestyle Motocross tricks which there sick but totally doable. #1 F,O,A,L Fastest of all legend's.

Hey rickie if you have your street bike with you in atlanta let go for a ride on some country roads will be at the track on the 17 th
Was that a Triumph Tiger ?
Yep. Looks like a new Tiger 900.
Greatest Rider Ever = RC
Fastest Rider Ever = JS7
The raw speed of Stew was insane
TP was amazingly fast as well back in the day.
As much as we can say Eli tied RC in Daytona wins, it really diminishes how great RC really was by saying that. Eli didn't win a championship every single year he won Daytona, Ricky did.
How many Daytona wins does McGrath have?
How many national championships did RC lose?
:)
Man that bike ricky rode in on and drove off on was gay asf!!!! The goat should be riding off in the sunset on atleast a harley bagger at the very least or something bad ass....
This video would be alot cooler with out mask
Listening to Atlanta 2, it is so sad to hear the GOAT, a 15 time champ with a 83% win average, use some new progressive phrase called "championship management" as Cooper Webb loses position after position. He lost those positions because that stupid phrase was probably planted in his head, just like RC's head. Just "manage the championship", (which can only mean slow down), a bit with these close lap times, and you lose several places. 15 championships, and the only thing RC was able to do is manage winning the last 2 or 3 races of a series that he already had wrapped up. "Championship management", (as the new phrase states), was always a crap shoot, and totally retarded today since the lap times are so close. Nobody is telling Ken Roczen to start managing the championship. If Cooper does not get that stupid idea out of his head now,---he will lose this championship.
you guys seriously need some help in the expanding into other areas of society man. this is great for your museum but we know fox is just the same ol crap. waste of time here
