- Justin Bieber has recently said many profound things about Jesus and Christianity. While we long for his salvation to be genuine, there's unfortunately some reasons for concern about his faith. In this video, Emeal ("E.Z.") Zwayne, the President of Living Waters, examines the concerning lyrics of one of Justin Bieber's songs that he wrote after professing to be a Christian. He then shows a colorful and delightful evangelism encounter that he had with a musician named Dan Lee Pistol.

The question that comes to mind for me then is “accountable to who, according to what”? Are you saying there is a standard that we can fail to meet or fail to apply to our lives?… that’s right, there is, but this video and Bieber seem to think we are supposed to cut this out entirely and call what we have a “relationship, not a religion”… well, that’s cutting out the religion. You can’t hold ANYONE “accountable” without an appeal to a religion. That’s what’s so bad and dangerous about that mindset.
It isn’t “either/or” religion or relationship. It’s “both/and” religion AND relationship.
Amen. That is the biblical standard. We are supposed to be pulling eachother back up on the narrow path.

But in the same way, are they not accountable to you? If only the unpopular people, and unpopular positions, are held accountable, but the majority "get by with murder", as far as the word of God is concerned, that's really not okay. That's having a respect of persons, and it usually is for personal advantage. Popular sins are really the "little foxes" that destroy the grapes, on a big scale, and it is hard to get anyone to acknowledge that they are sins, because they're all agreeing with each other about it, to look the other way, and not define it as sin.

@@jesus1stmylawislove I dunno, are you sure that was Jesus? He says that the world is enmity to him, not sure how that could be. Especially when one considers the unique ability music has to influence the human condition, as has been studied and concluded. A message delivered through music has the ability to bypass the conscience, and go directly to the subconscience, thus affecting us without our even being aware. Myself I used to LOVE me some world music, my entire identity was wrapped up in it, so I tried to continue in it after I got saved, but I couldn't. The Holy Ghost will deal with you concerning this also if you truly belong to Jesus, he did me anyhow, and changed my appetite.

I'm sitting here crying like I do every time. I was already saved before I started watching 'Living Waters' and I just love it. The passion and love for others that you, Ray and Kirk have to share the gospel is so inspiring. To bring someone to Christ would be the best thing one could ever do in this life.This was a refreshing video because Dan was so positive and ready to hear it. it was certainly no happenstance!
It makes me extremely sad when people have such awful things to say about our Savior. I fear for their souls. If they only knew the happiness, protection and calm you feel when you accept Christ to be your guide in life. He is an awesome, loving God who is always near who wants a relationship with us. Every time I think of what He did for us....the horrible suffering and death that He went through to take our sins, the tears flow. I can say for a fact that He answers prayers. Stating scriptures is not judging, people inadvertently are judging themselves, I recommend you answer those that try to be cunning by answering their stated scripture with a question stated within scriptures, example 2 Tim 2:1-6.

We can't say I am Christian and live in sin all day of my life .When u truly repent, God will change ur heart and love that which is right, and hate sin. If u dont hate sin(and feel quilty )and still keep doing the same thing your not saved. U may say I am struggling , but God told me its not struggling, its not willing them to go . Jesus told us *those who love me will keep my commands. I was that guy once like lukewarm and repented every day the same sins, but now he change my heart made me love what is right , and turn away from sin. The stronger the relationship with God the easier the sin will go away and the demons will flee. To make the retaliationship stronger start going to the church, pray to Him,pray to others, READ HIS WORD(BIBLE) , talk about Jesus to others, be OBEDIENT. This shows to Him that u are serious about this and u are willing to do His will no matter what. I am not saying u should be perfect , but the more Godly u live like Jesus the more u become like Him. He also taught me ,its not only about to get to heaven and receive the free price is about letting u go ur old self ,to do His will to make u what u were attended to represent. (His will is the bible words) Which means the more Jesus we look alike and act and think the more God loves u .

You planted the seed. He even knows he's a sinner. What would keep him from recieving the free gift of salvation? The love of his sin would. The moment he heard "repent", he checked out because most people think they have to clean themselves up first instead of just turning to God and letting him renew your mind day by day.

It comes across as a bit braggy to be honest, when a Christian says things like “I’ve memorized half the NT.” Nonetheless ,it’s pretty neat to see how God may be working in the heart of Dan. Absolutely love his down to earth, friendly way of witnessing. I would love some of his tips on memorizing Scripture. I read the Bible lots, but memory is a problem for me.
My memory is also bad. But I got this really interesting tip the other day. When you read the bible, try to read same book over and over again, so for example if you finish Hebrews, read it again and again for some time. Try read everyday. I think this method of reading the bible is very interesting. When you read new parts of the bible all the time, it will be hard to keep track of everything.

I bought a JB ticket two years ago prior to becoming a real Christian - a year later JB made Peaches and I was really dissappointed and I stopped keeping up :/ looking to sell the ticket. i still do care about him. keep praying for him.
It would be best to simply throw the ticket away, rather than sell or give it to others and thereby leading them to sin as well. I'm sure your sacrifice because you love the Lord will be rewarded.

Justin Bieber's fruits are not that of a saved man. I pray that he comes to true saving faith. I was once (not that long ago) part of the "christian club." I was a self professed Christian but unwilling to turn from my habit of sin. While there is still breath in our lungs, there is time to come to or come back to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

to be fully honesty, I feel like Justin back in 2020 and part of 2021, I feel he hasnt really changed much, because of what he says and what he does, but I think hes slowly changing, the song peaches was made a while ago. But i feel like this year and near the end of 2021 I feel like hes changing, slowly becoming better in his journey.
Yeah, I was very disappointed by this song as well. If it’s any consolation, I’ve been told he now edits it on his tour. I hope it’s true. Haven’t verified it yet. Hopefully it is.
I just want to say, when this song first came out I watched a video of you talking about it on your channel singing parts of it and saying it was good. Only thing you had “negative” to say about it was “I wouldn’t call my wife a bad *** b****”. So it’s strange to see this comment now about how you’re disappointed but you didn’t initially say that in the video I watched. Maybe you made a video later on I’m not sure but someone with the platform you have should have called this song out from the beginning.

I always see Ray and EZ use a lot of illustrations and some what parables like Jesus did to help people understand spiritual things who are unable to understand. And they really help make things more clear. Can you guys possibly make a video or a book on illustrations Christian’s can use when sharing the gospel to others so that people can understand better.

The word is discernment. We are to discern what is right and wrong-- otherwise, anything goes. And that isn't the way of Jesus Christ. We are to follow Him. So that's the message. We are to use our brains to know right from wrong according to Jesus.

But just to offer some clarification about Jesus hating certain things, when He was speaking to the Church of Ephesus in the book of Revelation, He actually praised them for hating the deeds of the Nicolaitans. And then He affirmed that He hated those same deeds as well. Here is the verse:
“But this you have, that you hate the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.”

Originally I NEVER paid Justin Bieber any attention. After watching his performance at the "Freedom Experience" concert last summer. I have become a fan of him. I do believe he is being used by God to point people to Jesus. And ultimately God will judge all of us, eventually. I think he's doing a pretty good job now at this point in his life. He just turned 28. He's been married for a few years now as well. Let's just pray for him. Annnnd ya'll pray for me too... let's all pray for one another. None of us have heard "Well Done" yet. So, let's stay humble and hungry for Jesus, and PRAYERFUL. In all actuality EVERYONE is sinning according to someone else's beliefs of what the Holy Bible says. Like for example, I believe tattoos are a sin. I believe smoking is a sin. And lots of other people don't believe that. And guess who will judge those things, not me... GOD.
