How do you explain Hebrews 10:26-29 After that we have received the knowledge of the truth? wherewith he was sanctified???? Ah, the classic appeal to extremes and false dichotomy. Just because there are cultural variations in moral codes doesn't mean all moral principles are purely subjective. There are universal moral constants, like the inherent wrongness of rape, that transcend cultural differences. Arguing that acknowledging some subjectivity in morality means we can't condemn universally recognized evils is a straw man fallacy. It's entirely possible to recognize both cultural nuances and universal ethical standards without falling into an all-or-nothing mindset. Morality is personal by definition. A conversation about ethics might be more interesting but would ultimately have the same conclusion.
