I've noticed how that young man looked at Ray to see if it was a honesty, when Ray told him that he loves him.. because like you said, " Ray is probably the 1st person to tell that young man he loves him. ".. you can live all your life on this earth and probably no-one will tell you that he or she loves you, its very rare in most people's lives occurrence. I met people that all their life they worked and being ignored or being hated on by everyone including messed up families... they look harden or grey, and when you telling them you love them, they look at you.. like they never heard this before, all their world stops , they brighting up and love you so much back. You and people here.. you are precious jewels if you carry this angelic personality. May LORD JESUS bless you all.

This man is broken. He feels alone, unloved, defeated and without hope. He's not ready to bear the burden of his sin. He first needs to experience the tender love of Jesus that comes through mercy, compassion, friendship. Jesus please send people to this man who love you and will love him. Draw him to you. The burden of a life in sin is what's making you sad but a genuine relationship with God revealed in Jesus through repentance overwhelms you with His love, joy and peace. 🙏

Man that was hard to watch because I can see my younger self in that young man. You can see how broken and hurt he is. I pray his heart is softened and he finds peace and salvation in Christ. I used to get out of bed angry every day because I woke up. Then Christ saved me. Now I'm thankful for my life and the God that gave me life. He brought me peace that I didn't even know existed. I pray that young man gets to experience the same.

When you make a good living scamming others, paying for one meal to scam _even more others_ (by creating a pleasant video) is a no-brainer. Meanwhile, Ray did that. Not the non-evidenced god the man asked to provide the meal.
faith come first before evidence, God show a lot of miracle but the heart is closed. Don't wait for miracle ask and no believe. No one can please God with a proud and a unbelieving heart. The time will come, you will say Jesus is the only Way, Why didn't in Him believe earlier?

When my brother in law died it was a gloomy overcast day. At work I said to God, Lord give me a rainbow as a sign today that my brother in law made it to heaven. The day turned to night and my heart was broken, but that very day my mom who taught me the Gospel came up to me and said, son look what we saw over our dream house. (They were looking to buy a house at the time) she turns her phone towards me and it was a rainbow over the house they were praying for. Praise God I broke down in tears and told the whole family and till this day I praise God for always revealing himself in so many little ways just like that. Jesus is alive we are saved he is real!

I shared the Gospel with someone today using the Living Waters method. I was in a supermarket and the man I spoke to questioned what I said a lot and kept trying to change the subject. A few times I was annoyed but I needed him to know that God provided us with Salvation.

I didn't go up to him and start talking but we were both in the same aisle when I overheard him say to himself that a product he wanted wasn't available and I remarked that a product I wanted was missing. He smiled and started talking to me. I wasn't expecting this but when I share the Gospel during a conversation, I always wait for the other person to say something that Jesus talked about. He made a comment about America and I replied that "Jesus said a house divided against itself will not stand" but his response was, "I don't want religion" and now I needed to share the Gospel. We talked for quite some time but when I had finished I said, "You have a good day and thank you for listening to me" and he replied, "You have a good day" with a smile and God was playing the last part of the song _Don't Stop Believin'_ by Journey on the supermarket intercom which are _"Don't stop believin'

More like, _"preying on this young man."_ Religion usually has to behave like a car salesman, creating a need then filling it (and Ray's probably _the_ most textbook theist using that method). But when someone's already hurting, the con is much easier. (I call it a con because I've never seen a theist, Ray or otherwise, present strong evidence of a god. So currently it seems identical to a con.)
@@majmage Here's the thing my friend: A lot of people even with the solid strong evidence of God will they still not believe. Why? Because it is a heart problem, not a seeing problem. Even with God standing in front of them, some people will still be "Nah I'm good." cause their hearts are so hard.

This is so wonderful, and I believe that that man will never even think about suicide again, and started enjoying life in the joy of our Lord
Out of countless questions or requests that anyone could ask of God, this young man chose to request God pay for his next meal and then be gone. He could have thought of millions of things but he asked to have his next meal paid for, and after that, be gone. Imagine the shock in his conscience when he realized his next meal is paid for and now it's his choice to either let God go or lay down his old ways and embrace God's mercy and forgiveness and love. Pray for this young man, he is at a crossroad in his life, a crossroad he himself came up with. Pray he takes the path of salvation through Jesus Christ.
I could see God working on him during the gospel presentation and at the end of the video. Brow furrowed together. That man was on the very brink of contrition. Oh Lord I pray that you will bring him to repentance of sin and faith in Jesus. I was in a similar state. Depressed, full of resentment and anger. The moment I truly repented God allowed me to feel his power and love as he completely changed my life in moments.

Because life is depressing. And we’re all going die anyway. And that fear of impending death is overwhelming for those who haven’t come to Christ.
What makes you think he has lot of anger, I saw a soul that has given up on life and whom Satan is attacking with suicide thoughts. Who knows what he had to go through in his life. If he had anger in his heart like you say, he would have not sit there and listen to Ray. All I saw is deep, deep, sadness, confusion, and anguish of mind that is under attack from Satan or his demons. Father I pray, deliver him from the lies of Satan, and bring him to the Cross of your beloved Son Jesus Christ, open his heart to receive mercy, grace, forgiveness of sins and salvation in Christ Jesus, do it for the sake of your beloved Son Jesus Christ and for your glory. 🙏
I've watched ao many of these videos that I immediately caught the "next meal" comment and thought of the In'N'Out cards. I was waiting for Ray to remind Merlin of his comment at the end of the video.
Little did I suspect that God (as He always does) would go the extra mile and remind Merlin Himself. Tears of joy as I saw Merlin's face light up! I pray right now that Jesus will show Merlin what it means to be loved by Him. Beautiful.

I used to feel exactly like this young man, when i would wake up i used to just weep because of all the sorrow and agony and pain that was in my heart and mind. I felt so hopeless and unworthy of the love of God, i used to believe that God would not and could not love such a wicked and selfish person like me. One night i thought to myself if Jesus can turn water into wine then maybe he could love me and forgive me for everything i had done in my life and i cried out to God with all of my being please save me O God, please love me. Then all i could hear was Jesus's name over and over again so i went and bought a Bible and began reading and was weeping over the pages seeking for the love of God. In one singel moment on May 2 2014 God came into my heart and filled me with his spirit and ripped away all of the sorrow that i felt and made me understand that he always loved me and that i was never alone. Praise God and my Savior Jesus Christ who took away all of my fears, thank you Jesus for saving a wretched sinner like me.

No matter how discouraged I am in the moment, Ray Comfort has been a true comfort. I read my bible if not daily, then almost daily. I'm reading it from beginning to Revelation. We don't have a lot of time left brothers and sisters. Pray to be found worthy in Christ Yeshua. Much love.
Hi, you are correct, we don't have much time left, can i encourage you to read more, each day, often i tell people to read 5 chapters everyday. Why? Well if you do, you can read most of the epistles of the New Testament in one sitting (takes no more than 20 mins), such as Philippians or 1 John or James. Most are between 4 to 6 chapters. We all have habits, they can form quickly, bad or good ones. If you read 5 a day, within 3 weeks it will be habit, and of course a good one, Gods grace
@@Mungunimzuri I'm still in the Old Testament....a MUCH longer read....I do two chapters a day. If I try to do more, I won't keep it up. It's different for everyone as you know. When I'm discouraged, I apologize to God/Jesus and ask for pardon since on certain days, I won't read. It truly is a test of faith, but God the Father knows my heart and that I and others are doing their best. I'm actually accomplishing something I would have NEVER done years ago....reading the bible. @@user-rh8iy3dw6o I listen as well, on the phone, sometimes for hours, the first time I read the OT i couldn't get it in fast enough, back then it was ipod, no phones, my name is Jack, often people would call me Capt Jack (ex army, but also from the pirates movie, Cap Jack Sparrow) when I went to buy the Ipod, (so that I could listen to the bible faster) on the box was a picture of Johnny Depp, as Captain Jack , he was winking at me, i knew it was God telling me, this will do it, from there I listened over 200 times, did a Bible degree, became a Pastor and an ICU nurse, not bad from an alcoholic drug addicted ex soldier, read like a lion, Gods grace
