I once was like the gay man. I was an atheist. A non believer. It took me to hit my rock bottom with my drinking problem to see the kindness of the good lord. He has saved me. I have 8 years of sobriety.

@Jesus_my_redeemer Another thing is when I was a drunk I had no interest in going to church , I had no interest in the Bible. So I had no education . When I hit my rock bottom and was so sick , I cried out to God please help me for the first time in my life. I knew that I had to repent for my sinful past before I was to be helped. I did that. And now my life is so much easier and manageable. The lord now helps me in other areas of my life.

Hey, man, mind if I ask you a couple things? I'm genuinely curious to know where this "atheists don't exist" idea is coming from. As an atheist, it strikes me as a little odd, because I have some pretty good reasons to think _I_ exist and I know for a fact I'm not currently convinced that any god exists.
Do you actually think "he knew Ray was right?" Do you think he was lying when he _literally_ stated the opposite? If you do, why? And why should anyone ever have a conversation with you if you're just going to assume things about other people's own minds?
BTW, if you can read people's minds, the Bible says we're _commanded_ to stone psychics to death. Barbaric, I know, but what can you do. The book says the thing, search it for "psychic" and see for yourself.
So are you going to double down on the mind-reading claim, or are you maybe willing to consider that some people *_GENUINELY DISAGREE and are not just PRETENDING to disagree...?_*
I know I genuinely disagree with Ray's god-claims. I know it because it's _my own thoughts._ To pretend to know what someone else's thoughts are is mighty presumptuous. As soon as you open that can of worms, it's fair game for an atheist to say you're just _pretending_ that God exists so that you'll get invited to the Sunday potluck and have a ready-made safety net to bail you out if you make a bad decision with your money or something. That's a conversation-stopper. If you're just virtue signaling to fellow Christians and think you "owned the atheist" by pretending they think something they don't actually think, that just makes you look silly to everyone other than you and your in-group.
It certainly isn't a good way to convince people who don't already believe as you do that your religion has any honesty about it, if you actually care about that at all. Just some constructive criticism there.
Most people learn that other people can _actually_ disagree with their ideas when they're around the age of 2 or 3. I think some people _pretend_ that atheists aren't actually atheists because they can't comprehend how someone could not believe in a god. Is that it? Do you just not know how anyone could not automatically assume magic is real?
You could just _ask_ why people don't believe in your god. There's lots of reasons, some bad and some good. You'll never know if you pretend they don't exist. If you actually want to know, I can tell you about some of the common reasons. If you want to win souls for Jesus, maybe it would help you to actually know what your opposition thinks so that you could stop using ineffective arguments and maybe see if there are some better ones you could use instead.
Like, if you're using the same bait over and over and not getting so much as a nibble, wouldn't you try a different bait? No atheist is biting on the "atheists aren't real" argument, so you might as well try something different. Think of it as casting your net on the other side, if you remember that Bible story.
How're they biting today btw? Happy weekend, hope you land some big ones. It's getting hot enough I'm thinking about jumping in the local mud hole to cool off. Working outside in this heat down in the South is brutal.

I see the logic and I appreciate this Ray - however the problem with the analogy of the flame is you have now EXPERIENCED the pain of the flame physically. That is what he was trying to allude to- that the bible TELLS us we can KNOW we have eternal life but his point (just like your flame analogy) was how can you TRULY know UNTIL you die? (Physically experienced it)
That being said he just wanted to win the ‘argument’ and was carrying anger in his heart towards God, plus he wasn’t prepared to acknowledge he was a sinner. As you always say Ray- a man will always profess his own goodness..

I agree, I think RC danced around that answer on purpose- if he had said yes, if your mom rejects Christ she would go to Hell- that guy would have lost it, and the interview would have abruptly ended. RC was kind to him and gave him a 1/2 honest reply, I'm not your judge God is.... but all who die in their sins go to Hell according to Gods word.

When my older brother met God, I didn’t have time to come into the house from work, and he immediately came running to me to share his joy. Like a little child running towards his father and saying - look what I have! And I told him... take your Jesus away from me... He left for another country, and we never saw each other again. After 4 years, I came to know Jesus. And I want so much to share my joy with my brother...

But that is once again referring to judgement day, not the twisted interpretation that you are trying to make. The Holocaust is a result of the actions of evil, hateful people and unless they accepted the Lord and repented, they will face God's righteous judgement for their actions on the day of doom.

And in Zephaniah 1:12 God even warns us about his wrath if we ever doubt that he controls all things, good and evil:

This exact thing happened to me last Sat. Convo started out about Vaccines, then went into abortion. I'm trained in Ray's curriculum and have been witnessing and evangelizing for many years. A woman who've I've known for several months and spent time in a group setting with her many times, ended up raging anger, insults, condemnation of me and my faith and my character and on and one. She called me judgemental, then left, then sent me texts then saying we're no longer friends. This is not the first time, nor the last. Ray is right we cannot take it personally and the demonic spiritual influence in them, hates the Holy Spirit in us...and "offends" them. We have to speak the truth in love and be prayed up too. Thank you Ray !

I relate to this comment so much. I used to be so angry and repulsed by the name of Jesus. Then one miraculous evening, salvation came upon me when I surrendered to Jesus and trusted in Him alone. Jesus said Any branch in me that does not bear fruit the Father takes away (and thrown in the fire), and every branch that bear fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. He said every tree that doesn’t bear good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire. And John also said to bring forth fruits befitting repentance, the ax is laid to the root of the trees, and every tree that does not bear good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire…Jesus will gather His wheat into His barn, but the chaff He will burn up with unquenchable fire.
Scripture makes the necessity of repentance, surrender, very clear.

Where is the logic behind that statement? 🤔Sin is the result of the majority of evil and suffering in the world. Rape, murder, stealing, terrorism, greed, pride, racism, and the list goes on and on. Justice and love met at the cross. That was a beautiful thing that Jesus Christ did for sinners. ❤ But to an unbeliever the gospel is gross. It will be those who profess their good works to him who he says to depart. Only those who have admitted their own sin and trusted in him alone will enter. Those who think their repenting of sin helped save them (a work, Jonah 3:10) will be cast away. There will be no self-righteous in Heaven.
@chrisjones46Q your right it is entirely through the blood of christ that we enter heaven, but after being saved the Holy spirit will guide us to repentance of sin, but its not the repentance that get us there

@@chrisjones46Q a person who is truly sorrowful over their sin will turn from it. It doesn’t mean they will never sin again, but God will prune those who are His Son’s. We are not saved by works but without works faith is dead, literally empty, futile. If the Holy Spirit is in you will be a new creature, and your life will begin to reflect that. No where in scripture does it say when your saved you can continue to live like the devil and be saved. It amazes me how living for Jesus is equated to works for salvation. It’s not.
When I loved sin and lived in sin, I was blinded by it. It was difficult to see the purity and brightness of the Light through the darkness that had enveloped me.
With these, I always think about the moment they realize they should have listened. Lord, please reach this man, in Jesus' name.
What a great interchange! Sure, any Christian would have like to see that stubborn, proud heart soften and to watch him bend the knee to Jesus. But, instead, we got to watch Ray share everything he possibly could with this man, diligently trying to share the whole Gospel with him. I love that he showed the video of the previously stubborn man who DID finally turn to Christ in faith. I pray that God gives me the same dog-ged determination to share Christ, even with highly resistant sinners, so that they might confess, repent and put their full faith and trust in Jesus! Yep, an ignorant Homosexual, I use to be that way too. But, I had a Mother, Brother and a wonderful Sister that prayed that I would give all of that to Jesus. Guess what? I did!!!
