Illustrated Yiddish proverbs, folk expressions, jokes and (mild) curses read in Yiddish with English translation and Yiddish transliteration. An intersection of Jewish folk-culture, art and social media. The idioms and phrases feature traditional symbols of Jewish life and religion including foodways, superstitions, gilgulim, kosher laws and uniquely Jewish irony.
