Just ordered the Avata. Can't wait to try it out. Unfortunately, the FPV Controller, Drone and Goggle batteries, and the ND Filters are all out of stock.
Can you use the Simulator with the Remote Controller as well as the FPV Controller??

@@WeTalkUAV I ordered one immediately after seeing how durable it was.... I have a Mavic and have always been fearful of crashing it. This one should be a blast since I wont be afraid to actually USE it!
They went smaller but better. Also loving the cinewhoop-style. Definitely looking more portable and agile with its form factor. So far impressed with DJI Avata!
the fpv is definately more agile. Compare the max vertical speed on the avata vs the fpv. It's night and day.

🚁 Really glad that it is supposed to be more durable. I own the OG DJI FPV, and flying that thing is scary because if you crash it you will break the drone and probably destroy anything you fly in to aswell.

I like it, I’m thinking aim gonna a buy the combo and use with my DJI FPV and sell my V2 Goggles.
The only question is the Goggles 2 are compatible with the DJI FPV and old Cadexx Vista and DJI Air Unit?

Yes, you can use the old goggles with the new Avata + the RC as well. If you want to buy the drone, I'd love if you do it through my link
DJI Support says no, the new goggles are NOT copatible with FPV or any previous Air units.
@@azideaworks8 he is saying that you CAN you the OLD goggles with this new drone and the the OLD remote as well .

Do you need the FPV controller to be able to do orbits or fly sideways/backwards?
Yes. $199 USD or you can use the one that came with the DJI FPV if you have it.
@@canyonblue737-8 oh geez so it's $1400 or whatever for the drone, then another $200 to make it fly properly? DJI pulled this same crap with the Mavic 3 and the garbage controller it came with.

More compact and lightweight yet more durable compared to DJI FPV. DJI Avata seems to make flying an fpv drone less intimidating.
