Good job with the filming. Thanks for taking the trouble to make this video. I'm researching living in a van, and all the info I can get is useful. This showed a lot. Thanks.
Very nice camper. A lot of good features, and even though it's a vintage vehicle, it certainly looks nice and clearly is doing the job for you. Pleasure Way seems to make good products. This camper has all the basic things one might need... something to think about when looking at campers. You don't always need the "latest and greatest". Solid and reliable is just fine in many cases.
I was on an RV lot a few weeks ago to look at the new class B's and I have to say I don't care for them. The boat manufacturers seem to have been updating and improving their ergonomics every year, but the the class B RV guys aren't getting it.
Nice fully enclosed bath especially given the size of the Class B, for sure I was expecting an isle shower for that Unit usually that year would've had an isle shower, thanx for the Tour...
Sir, what a pretty well-made video of your home in wheels. I very much like the size and scope of what your camper is able to provide in terms of necessities, luxury and comfort features. I like this model of Dodge van and especially like that the toilet and shower are separate. I myself would love to have a set-up like yours. I like your presentation, candor of your delivery and your good-natured explanation on your camper.
What an excellent and thorough tour of your wonderful camper - your camper van has everything one would need and want for living, and you have it organized and decorated very nicely - very neat, tidy, well organized, and comfortable. We love to camp, and I really appreciate the tour and the thorough and great description of the appliances, storage, solar panels, the water dumping, vents, hoses, and everything inside and out, very helpful to me and my family. Love the idea of the storage container and footrest also. This camper van is a real winner, and as my family and I get more involved in our camper and camping hobby, we will be back often for more of your great videos and tips for our camper. We started with tent camping, then had a class A that we loved but couldn't afford, and now have a Rockwood pop-up that we refurbished like new and have been using for several years. We are looking to graduate to a class B camper van in the near future. It is the best of all worlds, and I would love to live in one full time and see the world. Thanks again for this most enjoyable video and channel - we have liked, subscribed and we plan to watch all of your videos tonight. Best wishes to you from Mrs Ginny and family.
I also have a old ford falcon class b campervan. I like the interior of your van better. I like the bed in the back. My bed is in the middle. Thanks for sharing.
Christy Cappello You're quite welcome! The problem with the bed in the back is it's limited in size by the width of the van which makes it unusable/uncomfortable for taller people.
I'm up there almost every weekend, I love being able to get there fairly quickly (2-3 hrs.) If my RV were much bigger I wouldn't be able to go to that particular spot.
I love the idea of taking a chain saw for falling trees yes that has been an issue. And of course that's great storage for your guns and clothes. I love this floor plan. I want to look for it for several bennifits I saw. Thank you so much.
Again, great vid. Just watched all your boat vids and left a comment. I'm looking at a 30 steel Tahiti gaff rigged ketch. I already have a class B motor home, much like yours. Mine's a 1991 Ford F 250 with a Coachmen camper. 351 V-8. Bought it two years ago and have been re-doing it. Love it, can drive around town like a regular van and easy to park. Used to have a 30 fr Class A. Never again. Thanks for the vid, enjoyed and good luck with your "B".
Nice video. I have a '91 Coachmen on a E-250 Ford, 351 V-8 and 4 speed. Tranny has a manual switch for overdrive on/off. I've had a Class A, a Class C, and now this Class B. I like this the best. Its really a one person camper, but that's OK with me.
I am looking at a Dodge handicap van right now. I would sure like to get in touch with you for the interior layout. It's got the same basic shape including the top. Minus the windows. I was thinking the same thing about the front windows. They take wind and abuse. I am going to use the wheelchair lift as a slide out shower/toilet. But the rest of the van I was going to build pretty much like yours. Thanks for showing us one of the best desinged class B van's out here.
Hey there, if you want to get in touch with me go to the main page of my channel and then go to the "about" tab. It has a mailing address and if you click on "business inquiries" you can get my email address. I think your plan is a very good one. I have some ideas for building my next RV and I've started doing a "rough draft" using my 5' x 10' cargo trailer. So far I've only installed the solar setup and now I'm getting parts and ideas to get the rest put together. The reason I'm doing this is it seems no matter how much money I throw at a newer RV, I'm not going to like it. Even if I spend $150k on a newer class B, the RV is going to be absurdly heavy, have too many windows, and it's only going to be suitable for weekend excursions in nice weather. Honestly, I think building your own is really the only way to go if you have some backyard mechanic skills. There's a youtuber with the channel name of NØMAD who has a brilliant way of doing some of the cabinetry which I think I'm going to try out. One of my big concerns is keeping the vehicle weight down, and his method is ideal. Give it watch if you get a chance.
To be honest wet baths are ok if you keep on top of cleaning them. My sail boat had the shower and "toilet" combined and I gave it a quick wipe down every time I used the shower and it was fine. I sort of begrudge not combing the two to save space in the RV, but yes, the sit-down shower in the RV is opulent compared to what I had on the boat. It's nice being able to soak my feet after a long day.
Nice little van/camper. It has everything you need for Pennies on the dollar compared to anything new. It’s all you need and probably much easier and cheaper to repair and maintain than new. Obviously much better quality than new, look how long it has lasted.
great video.i just bought a 1986 Chevy horizon camper van it's got the jack knife couch kitchenette toilet and sit down shower.i m living in mine as well I bought a generator for it and plan on taking her on plenty of adventures
I love that make and model van. I'm in NY. You don't see many if any of those models. There does appear to be a few more in the CAN region. Thanks for the tour! Good luck in you travels.
+Greg Newlands Here on the west coast I see vehicles of this era and older quite a bit. In parts of Canada where they put salt on the road in the winter this RV would draw a lot of attention.
Sorry to hear about your luck in Alberta, but look on the bright side... you no longer live in Alberta! Very interesting video about your home, it looks like a nice cozy vehicle to live in.
+Gyppor Thanks! I think for four months (Nov-Feb) of the year it's going to be a bit challenging and inconvenient but for the other eight months it's awesome so it works out in the long run. I'm still sorting out where I'm going to be living. I want to try and stay on the island but if I want decent work I might have to leave again.
Z Shark Your welcome, and feel free to ask questions! There's quite a few RV dwellers on you tube: check out Justin Credible, Nomadic Fanatic, and Will Burson if you haven't already.
Thank you for the excellent tour. Regarding the chainsaw, perhaps an electric? And along with the hatchet get a small sledge hammer too so the hatchet can be a wedge if the saw gets stuck.
Nice vid! Right wear the Mr. Buddy is located u could put in a one cubic foot mini wood burner. It mounts on the wall. Down size all those clothes and make partially the front nose above the cab an herb garden. That's what I would do. Hope your still traveling! Happy trails
Thanks! I installed a Dickinson Newport Gas fireplace where the Buddy heater was located. I seriously considered going with a wood burning appliance, but I need some thing that turns on and off fast so gas won out.
That's about a perfect Class B right there. These things are useless without the cab-over bunk. Since they don't have length, all Class B's should go for a little extra height in that way.
thanks for the video I love your floor plan my couch/bed is in the front blocks of the area be a bit tight when it's opened up to a bed.i would like to take a trip to Canada in my camper van.
nice motor home I have just brought another boat to do up but now it turns out I might have to move to a smaller place so I might have to sell my boat! so I am now thinking of getting a van and converting it to a basic rv with kayaks on top for my fishing trips :)
+my boat, motorhome and fishing adventures If you have the place, tools, and ability to convert your own van it's definitely the way to go. Anything readily made, such as my RV, is a package of compromises that you make work. Another advantage of converting a van is it's stealth ability as long as you don't get too crazy. It's my long ambition to find a big 4wd van and make it into a an awesome cold climate bush buggy that can handle the trails/snow and have the power to pull a quad or motorcycle trailer. Someday.
Hey you sound a little like Badger from Breaking Bad. lol You really have a nice, clean RV there, i'm impressed with in how good shape this old girl still seems to be! 80's chique, but not run down, looks comfortable! Your camera really doesn't do a great job tho, hard to really picture the size(zoomed in).
+Karl Miller Whenever I get a day or two I head out there to stay. It's very quiet out there and there's no light pollution so it's perfect for stargazing.
When I grow up or at least become a teen I would live in one if these because I live in a town and I barely get to go anywhere so I would love one of these just to travel while living in there full time
Interesting use of space,i guess it works for you,but i would use the space above the cab as a bed,and then you could extend the back and put in more storage drawers for your clothes, and make the kitchen space a little bigger, but that's just me,love your work, looking forward to more videos from you, stay safe.:-)
Thanks! I know lots of people can do it but if I had the roof 5 " above my face when trying to sleep I'd go bananas! I also have my clumsy moments so not having to climb in and out of bed is good.
If you get yourself an axe, get one that has an steel head infused with the steel handle with rubber cushioned handle , so no wooden handle breaking. I would get a portable finish made camp manual saw for fire wood cutting, this would serve you for most services , you really would not need to carry a chain saw and have to worry about storage of also the fuel and oil etc. I used .annual tools all my life, also, by using manual tools, helps keep your joints more flexible, less atheistic, more health wise. Also carry with you portable snow car folding shovel or army folding trench shovel. Good luck sir, on your travels. Kevin Phoenix.
WAIT?!? Your a Canadian, AND you have GUNS???? lol...You realize how funny that is, and that ur a major walking contradiction, lol...I lOVE it, lol... Great rig!
I really want to live in a class B rv. My only challenge is I CANNOT live without AC during the summer while sleeping. Minimum I gotta have AC for 10 hours (I dont sleep that long, but I like to wind down after a shower before bed. Can a solar panel keep an AC unit running all night long during the summer? What about those gas generators that a lot of the class A's and C's have?
If you have enough solar panels and batteries, sure, why not. Justincredible is a CZcamsr that lives in his RV over on the mainland where it gets much much hotter. Search his CZcams video titles and see if he has anything on his power/AC setup. If not ask and see if he'll give you some tips.
I have a Class C and what I do for the black water tank is when going to the bathroom I place plastic bags in the toilet and bag up solids. Simple and quick, toss them in a covered container and when I do get into town toss in the trash. When camping like you are out in the woods I have no problem urinating in nature. That saves a lot of water and keeps the black water tank free for over flow from grey water...or as you suggest, dump that. I never have black water tank issues because it's simply not used for solids.
+MrDisneyCollector you are discussing to dump your shit. that's why we are losing our freedom I'am just boiling inside of me. I hope I never never never meet you.
it is legal everywhere in the USA to dispose of human fecal waste as long as it's in a contained trash bag and disposed of in public trash container. Like diapers, they are human waste and are legal to toss in the trash. Adult diapers as from nursing homes go in the trash. Human waste is legal to dispose of by simple means than plugging up the black water tank trying to flush in a dump station.
I can see myself in a camper or tint home with a Kimberly wood stove. They are so expensive but the most efficient ones. They can burn up to 8 hours on a single eco wood log.
+Eric St-Louis While it's very aesthetically pleasing, I'm not a fan of the Kimberly. Even the crudest wood burning stove is efficient if you set it up right. Wood goes in, ash comes out. Considering the Kimberly wood stove would run approx $5000 here in Canada I can't justify purchasing one unless I win $5 million in the next lotto 649. Even then I probably wouldn't because I feel it's a ridiculous sum of cash for a container that you burn wood in. Then again, I would happily pay $5000 for a precision rifle only to use it to put holes in 8"x11" sheets of paper, so you can take my rant with a grain of salt. Cheers!
hi love the van wish we had those down here in OZ did you think of fitting a second gas /propane tank just a thought as you said you cant get a bigger one. keep up the good work Paul
+woollie I don't have room to permanently mount a second, though I do carry around a spare 20 lb portable. I find that even using the furnace in below zero temps, the water heater on all the time, and my daily cooking I'm using about 10-13 lbs a week so I'm good for 2 weeks or so.
I so miss my old van right about now (sigh) and the freedom it afforded me. Good on you for choosing this lifestyle. A kindred spirit
Very nice camper van. I like the sit or stand shower set up away from the toilet.
Thats a nice little shower. I like how the shower and toilet are separate.
This van looks more comfortable theny friends RV was.
sweet rig.
Good job with the filming. Thanks for taking the trouble to make this video. I'm researching living in a van, and all the info I can get is useful. This showed a lot. Thanks.
My Beloved Pleasureway...85 was the year... I sold it to a nice couple, I miss it though. Thanks for the memories
It was alot bigger and better designed inside than I thought, I have not seen a chevy that was this comfortable looking inside before
It's a Dodge Ram I believe.
Very nice camper. A lot of good features, and even though it's a vintage vehicle, it certainly looks nice and clearly is doing the job for you. Pleasure Way seems to make good products.

How my god heaven wake up in morning to that view can't complain about that ,breakfast outside on a dry day, love the RV what more could you want

Beautiful neighborhood.
It has everything you need. It's good. Nice video.
Love your van!! And the fact that the toilet is separated from the shower is just perfect. Looks very comfortable 😊
I bought a 1997 Dodge Roadtrek 190 Popular two years ago and have been living in it. Thanks for the tour of your home. Awesome rig.

Love your vids !!! " Don't be a nail that sticks up cause you will get hammered down " I have learned that the hard way ;)
You have an awesome van. Thanks for sharing.
CamperVanClark Thanks! I just finished watching the video tour of your van that you posted in March; boy did you get a sweet deal.
Enjoyed your video. Awesome van set up. Thanks for sharing.
Paulastnly You're welcome and I'm glad you liked the video!
I love your RV and the location looks so Romantic! 😍
Comfy pad! Loved your video. Keep up the good work and enjoy your freedom.
8:26 ....."2 months' worth of clothes and a bunch of guns..." pretty much all one would need
sweet Class B
Patrick Wagz Thanks!
American Woman I used to be afraid of firearms too - but that's because I don't know anything about them and I've never had any Training ❤️
Patrick Wag
Patrick Wagz I wouldn't want people to know I had guns. I like suprises. HE HE.
Patrick Wagz is
Awesome tour!!
What a great tour thanks brother 😊
Very good...I like it! Thanks for sharing. :)
It's remarkable that you have so many things in such small space. I love your RV. Well done!
Thanks!
Love your van so cool Awesome.
Very nice. We of liked to if seen the rest of your RV. Very nice.
WOW that is Nice!! your in a Beautiful area!!
You have a lovely home! The sense of freedom must be amazing. :o)
There's a youtuber with the channel name of NØMAD who has a brilliant way of doing some of the cabinetry which I think I'm going to try out. One of my big concerns is keeping the vehicle weight down, and his method is ideal. Give it watch if you get a chance.
That large separate shower is awesome! I personally find wet baths kind of yucky.
Do you know what Pleasure-Way called this floorplan? I think it might be the VST, but I'm not sure.
Yes I really liked the shower...the whole van actually, does it have a/c ?
Very good video. Nice camper van.
camera work is not bad at all! great vid! cant wait to see more:)
You have everything in it...I Like it...🤩👍👍
Love the pillows in the back. Nice and comfy.
That is a neat shower, never seen one exactly like it.
I love your class B RV. Sweet! Keep on truck'n.
I certainly hope to find a gem like this soon..I love it
monkeynumber nine I think I should hold out for one of these older class b. Early winter best time to buy
Nice little van/camper. It has everything you need for Pennies on the dollar compared to anything new. It’s all you need and probably much easier and cheaper to repair and maintain than new. Obviously much better quality than new, look how long it has lasted.
very nice rig!
I really like this van, the tub is so handy, 😊
Beautiful home, thanks for sharing. 👍
Thank you and you're quite welcome!
Nice van!
great video.i just bought a 1986 Chevy horizon camper van it's got the jack knife couch kitchenette toilet and sit down shower.i m living in mine as well I bought a generator for it and plan on taking her on plenty of adventures
Nice video buddy. Best of luck to your travels.

Very cool! I would love something like this to drive around the country (USA) and see all the sights!
+Janet Barrow In my opinion a "compact" RV is the best way to explore this continent in comfort and safety!
I just totally love your RV. I think it's awesome dude!
very good video. no need for improvement.
this is so nice. I could be very comfortable in something like this.
good tour
I need to find one of these

Thank you for the excellent tour. Regarding the chainsaw, perhaps an electric? And along with the hatchet get a small sledge hammer too so the hatchet can be a wedge if the saw gets stuck.
+Mark Conger An electric would require a gen set, so nah. I do have a good hammer though.
Muy bonita van felicidades

If you have enough solar panels and batteries, sure, why not. Justincredible is a CZcamsr that lives in his RV over on the mainland where it gets much much hotter. Search his CZcams video titles and see if he has anything on his power/AC setup. If not ask and see if he'll give you some tips.
I'm a in loaf of your minicamper, it's awesome for a wkend or just drive up to the mountain for a few days
You got more terabytes then me!

The good ole days
nice..all of them....
I never have black water tank issues because it's simply not used for solids.

it is legal everywhere in the USA to dispose of human fecal waste as long as it's in a contained trash bag and disposed of in public trash container.
The front windows are great if you have a bed there so the passenger can watch the road if he/she hips on the bed
