That was possibly the best tour of a motor home I've ever seen. Having seen the videos of your work all along, it was great to see a full tour to show just how beautiful it now is. Thumbs up!
Great rig.....great video! I may have missed it but, what does a rig like this go for? How many MPG? Do you have any trouble parking in a normal space? Thanks!
After crawling with you over every inch of your rig by watching all of your videos it was very nice to get a full once over of the finished project. ALL of your hard work paid off in a very big way. Yours is the classiest Xplorer on youtube.
The bathroom has too be the selling point. That was the best Class B tour I have seen. You never disclosed how many miles you had on it for its age. Nice camper use it....
What a super clean and excellent weekend camper. No doubt lot's of people who live in vans like yours are feeling real envious right now....You certainly have made it a home from home. Also this is a excellent informative video. First class. Thankyou.
Great Job Filming, narrating and excellent music too. The brief breaks you took to discuss further were a nice touch. Really got a fill for the vehicle. Nice also how empty and clean you had it for filming so as not to distract from the motorhome. Really is one of the nicest videos Ive seen.
Steve, Love your channel. Excellent detailed tour. I love how you keep your van extremely clean. Well done! It's great to see you can travel and be comfortable in a van. A condo on wheels.
I believe you've found your niche, an RV salesman. You did a great job, much better and advanced camera control than all those used RV salesman out there. Your demo makes me wanna buy an Xplorer.
hi. Stive. I've seen rig tours I like them .specially nomadic fanatics but when I sow yours wow that was simply the best I really enjoyed the quality of the picture. the details and everything. thanks for sharing. dj
Finally, a fellow dually! I just picked up a '94 Freedom wide body with duals and cannot believe the firm handling on the highway. Like yourself, one has to drive one to "dually" appreciate it!
Great video Steve! Excellent tour, slick production. Nice use of music. You're a good spokesperson. The patter is smooth, no ummms, uhhs or stuttering. Very easy to listen to. Two thumbs up.
Great video of the Explorer 230, gret all around touring Van. I want one!!! A friend has one and he's ignored on solar, took an older van and revamped it. Spent some time In The PNW this summer, what a great place to see. I'll be back.
Brings back a lot of memories. I ran the metal shop there, and am personally responsible for about 90% of the aftermarket metal on it. Nice to see they're holding up.
Hi Steve . I really like your Video Road trip & Wal-mart Camping . As soon as I get this Cancer under control I will be getting out on the road I watch you and the nomadic Fanatic GGC Love you Guys Don't stop Bud
Steve, you are a man to be admired. Your talents are many, and obvious. Former blue collar worker, HA, HA. I really enjoy watching your videos. Richard
Thanks Steve, regarding the search for my previous comments Your talents are many, and obvious. You demonstrate a wide range of abilities. I really enjoy watching your video's. Keep up the good work. Richard
Well, it's 2020, but I enjoyed the tour. We had a tent trailer for thirty years. Older brother had a Class A for a while before he died. He had a smoke detector, a carbon monoxide detector, and a flammable gas detector. The industrial plants in El Paso, Texas caused all three to sound off. A new style lithium ion house battery is now available. It's called Battle Born. They are clearly superior, but quite expensive.
Great vid! I remember when you first purchased it. You saved it, and it has your touch on it throughout. Countless hours of work....I'm sure. I can relate to every positive comment you made about this Class b. Best of luck!
Great tour Steve. I noticed quite a few differences from mine. I'm hoping to do a tour vid soon before making a lot of changes to it. And you give me hope the shower will be enjoyable. I haven't tried to shower in it yet. But I can say the stove and fridge work great :)
Thats almost a PERFECT Rv! I like the "vibrating" seat bec im diabetic, and my doctor is always telling me about possible circulatory issues that can lead to amputations! You also keep her in great shape! As far as solar, you only need about 200w to sufficiently charge or top-off your batts. Have fun with your rig sir...shes a real beauty, Cheers!
+roberto abrams Well maybe I will just disconnect the the control from the seat. It just unplugs. My solar is 165watts and does a good job. It may be too much solar for one 12v battery. There is room in there for another battery and I may get one.
All your work has paid off well on this. If you ever decide to sell, it will be snatched up at top dollar. Downside is it also makes all the Xplorers more expensive to purchase. I want one!
Steve, you've really done a great job of freshening it up...looks like a new van! Just wondering what your thoughts are on the 3rd seat vs the couch setup? I would think the couch would be the most functional if you had a choice. I like the 3rd seat but can you tell me how the leg room is? I noticed when JC used the table it seemed cramped. Would it be too cramped for two if you turned the driver's seat around to dine?
Fantastic motorhome, this Brit in Wyoming loves it!!! I'm guessing these type of vans are Crazy money though???? It more or less has Everything you would need for living and traveling full time! I could live in that, it's Fantastic! 10 out of 10
Keep an eye on the rear wheel studs, on our '99 230wb Xplorer it picked up a vibration when your down to the last 2 unbroken ones.. Had to sell it could not feel comfortable when the duals come that close to flying off into the ditch.
What's hard about it? You have everything you need, you only have to pay for gas and propane as long as you're boondocking... and unless you're using it/traveling a lot it's less than paying rent
Loved your video! Do you mind if I ask approximately how much the van cost, including the solar panels and how many miles were on the van when you bought it? I ask because I'm trying to decide if it is more cost effective to buy a new van and build it out or buy a used van that has everything in place. Your van setup is PERFECT! Thanks so much!
When this first started I was thinking "Oh great! Another tour of an RV!" How many tours do we need from RV'ers? This video was a pleasure to watch! God damn it, you do some great work to take what others have done and put out your own version which (imo) stands out from others. Making it very enjoyable to watch to boot! Kudos to you. The best part was all the different camera angle shots and the best was the "Ariel view" of the cockpit . Dang dude! Next time you make a trip shoot lots of video ( if your so inclined) of the most mundane stuff. You would have weeks of 10+ minute videos that I would expect you could make some great episodes from. Only of course if it pleases you. That is mission one, that you enjoy what you do. Your Sir, stand out from the other channels presenting the same stuff , but in a much more creative and enjoyable way. Don't be embarrassed to hear this "your video's for whatever reason float to the top compared to the one's I subscribe to". You are a very detailed driven man and that is evident from what I've seen in every video. Thank you for sharing. jim
Nice campervan Steve. Honestly, I think this is a much better layout than my 87 Ford Fiesta Class B Campervan. The shower is very difficult to use inside of mine because of my size, also it would be nice to leave bed down all the time as well. I do like mine however and plan to keep, but it is interesting to see how things have improved thru the years.I was hoping you were going to talk about fuel mileage.
+Campervan That is what I like about the X is that everything is usable. You are a pretty good builder and could make your own changes if you needed. MPG was 12.9 something on my last big trip. Call it 13.
Hey Kevin, sorry to hijack your comment but since you mentioned beds... did you find the slide out bed in the fiesta to be not worth it after a while? If you could do it over would you rather have a fixed bed in the back? The ability to have a couch and a “living area” separate from my bed seems like a huge benefit in your van but maybe experience says otherwise. I would love to see a pros & cons video of both traditional setups. Steve, thanks for the expert tour showing every corner in an efficient manner.
Yes. I have a 26' ford citation and love it. But it's old (86) and needs to go to a person who is also a handyman. I have been looking for a similar floor plan out there as to what I have.....but smaller....maybe 22-24'......
Great presentation! The rig speaks for itself. Very hard to find and expensive! It's all about parking. I had to settle for something larger with much less driveability. '03 Jamboree 26Q., all covered up waiting for Spring. michigan
There are trade offs for sure. My last trip was with my daughter for a couple weeks. Had to stay in parks for the girl child's shower needs. A larger rig would have been heaven. I usually fly solo and the X is great for parking in normal city spaces so, yeah.
I LOVE THIS VIDEO .. Tossed between buying a used xplorer and something newer ... What was the mileage when you picked yours up .... I see the 99's are fetching between 35-45,000 U.S. still, with mileages varying around 85K. Did you have much work done on it .... engine .. thanks ... again .. great video.
Great video! I would go right out and snap one up today if I could. I have limited experience driving vehicles this size. What would you suggest as a good source for the practical application of B class RV training?
I am all about people who like to modify/fix vehicles. I subscribed. It looks really low-key which is what you were looking for I assume. Maybe one day I'll upload videos of my vehicles. If I was single I might get into the whole RV movement. Oh well.
That was possibly the best tour of a motor home I've ever seen. Having seen the videos of your work all along, it was great to see a full tour to show just how beautiful it now is. Thumbs up!
+lakelizard It IS nice to see the difference from when I first got it. I am happy with it.
Great tour, Steve! It really showcased the results of all of your hard work. Job well done. It's a beautiful class B. Thumbs Up !!
Very nice thank you for the tour I'm sure you will enjoy many outings in it, looking forward to your next trip in it.
I am always amazed at how awesome it looks after all of your hard work. looks brand-new
The bathroom has too be the selling point. That was the best Class B tour I have seen. You never disclosed how many miles you had on it for its age. Nice camper use it....

Your RV looks pristine and the floor plan flows well. I enjoyed your video.
Amazing Vehicle AND Amazing Video AND Amazing Commentary. Truly, one of the best of all 3 Categories I Have Ever Seen, and THANKS!!!
Steve, Love your channel. Excellent detailed tour. I love how you keep your van extremely clean. Well done! It's great to see you can travel and be comfortable in a van. A condo on wheels.
This is a nice set up.. this is what I am looking for.. nice tour
Great tour Steve, good to see you again.
I believe you've found your niche, an RV salesman. You did a great job, much better and advanced camera control than all those used RV salesman out there. Your demo makes me wanna buy an Xplorer.
Very nice work as always Steve. Nice Class B for sure!
Man that’s so sweet I wish I can buy one but in my life I don’t think it’s possible it’s just a dream
hi. Stive. I've seen rig tours I like them .specially nomadic fanatics but when I sow yours wow that was simply the best I really enjoyed the quality of the picture. the details and everything. thanks for sharing. dj
Steve - Great tour of a van you should be proud of... ya done good!
Finally, a fellow dually! I just picked up a '94 Freedom wide body with duals and cannot believe the firm handling on the highway. Like yourself, one has to drive one to "dually" appreciate it!
Steve. ... I LOVE LOVE LOVE ALL your videos! !! keep' em coming I'm looking to hit the Road some day soon your a big inspiration. safe travels !!
Thanks John. Good luck on your future plans.
Great tour Steve, perfection, really enjoyed, thanks so much for sharing.
Great video Steve! Excellent tour, slick production. Nice use of music. You're a good spokesperson. The patter is smooth, no ummms, uhhs or stuttering. Very easy to listen to. Two thumbs up.
+RangerDave1959 Thanks Dave.
Waw!! What a gem!
Now I want one, too! LOL.
Congrats for owning such a beauty.
Salaam to you and to all.
I gota git me one of these! lol... very nice and a great tour, thanks for making it.
Its come a long way, very nice and the camera work/editing is like a pro job. Excellent!
+Yann Kitson I been working on the video/audio thing. I hope I'm not giving people vertigo like before.
Great video of the Explorer 230, gret all around touring Van. I want one!!! A friend has one and he's ignored on solar, took an older van and revamped it. Spent some time In The PNW this summer, what a great place to see. I'll be back.
Love the dual rear wheels. Definitely want that on my next RV.
Brings back a lot of memories. I ran the metal shop there, and am personally responsible for about 90% of the aftermarket metal on it. Nice to see they're holding up.
I'm always dreaming of having one setup like your, it's beautiful wow!!
Hi Steve . I really like your Video Road trip & Wal-mart Camping . As soon as I get this Cancer under control I will be getting out on the road I watch you and the nomadic Fanatic GGC Love you Guys Don't stop
Bud
Well done Steve, great video.
Steve, you are a man to be admired. Your talents are many, and obvious. Former blue collar worker, HA, HA. I really enjoy watching your videos. Richard
I did a search on your handle. I did not find comments of Sept 18. Sorry. Thanks for your comments and support all this time. Take care.
Thanks Steve, regarding the search for my previous comments Your talents are many, and obvious. You demonstrate a wide range of abilities. I really enjoy watching your video's. Keep up the good work. Richard
Awesome van! I love your video it is very thorough!
Good tour and very nice van.
I absolutely love the white cabinetry, it's so beautiful!
+Debrajoy It is personal preference issue for sure. Some have not.
Looked like the tour was done at Mountain Crest Park. Well done. Thanks.
great tour----great vehicle.
Well, it's 2020, but I enjoyed the tour. We had a tent trailer for thirty years. Older brother had a Class A for a while before he died. A new style lithium ion house battery is now available. It's called Battle Born. They are clearly superior, but quite expensive.
BB is a good and expensive battery for sure. If I were full time, maybe.
Very cool vid!...Like how your interior colors are pretty nice unlike the greens of other Xplorers out there! Sweet Ride!
+Colorado4x4Van I like the blue too.
Great vid! I remember when you first purchased it. You saved it, and it has your touch on it throughout. Countless hours of work....I'm sure. I can relate to every positive comment you made about this Class b. Best of luck!
+Steve Palmer Thanks for your support and for commenting. Take care.
Steve Palmer
Awesome video, I'm gonna check one out this week.
Awesome rig you have there!
beautiful camper brother, i really like the king size bed and full bathroom/shower! 🚐
After watching a few of your videos, gotta say... you take very good care of your vehicle.
+MrZola1234 It's nice to finally have it at the point where it is right now.
Very nice! Super clean! Spaceship!
Love your van and you gave a wonderful tour. Thanks.
+Janice Adams Thanks Janice.
great video nice rv....loved the music....nice job
Good tour. Thanks
I am very envious of your awesome Xplorer! I think a similar setup would suit me very well. Glad you are enjoying it so much. :-)
+RealFarknMcCoy Look at Pleasure-way and Road Trek for more availability.
Xplorer Steve Sadly, none of them are available here in Australia. :-( B class vans are really rare, and terribly expensive here.
Awesome stuff. Thanks for the great videos.
Great job on this review and you have an awesome van. I think it would be the perfect size for two people to travel in.
+Jerry Court I think so too.
You're hysterical with the music drama🤣🤣😍😍😍
Great set up in that van
Very cool, i really liked this one, great job.
Thanks
Dan
+Dan Joy Thanks for taking the time to comment and for your support.
I am new to you stuff, its really cool. Thank you
Thank you for sharing, you often make nice videos.
Beautiful rig I Wonder what I can pick one up for in 2018 maybe in the Spring. Looks like it has all one really needs.
excellent video!!!! Now I want one of those vans lol...excellent setup, just live comfortable in there 😊👍
+Kaleb S. Xplorer's are out there if you look. It is a great setup. Looking forward to your next vid. Take care K.
Very nice Steve👍
Great video Steve...I like the 3rd seat,....mine is the full couch model
+mojim You could get the third seat from Happily Houseless or JC. Haha.
Great tour Steve. I noticed quite a few differences from mine. I'm hoping to do a tour vid soon before making a lot of changes to it. And you give me hope the shower will be enjoyable. I haven't tried to shower in it yet. But I can say the stove and fridge work great :)
+Z Shark It was surreal showering in a parking lot. Haha. RV virgins.
very nice and neat van!
Enjoyed tour.
Thats almost a PERFECT Rv! I like the "vibrating" seat bec im diabetic, and my doctor is always telling me about possible circulatory issues that can lead to amputations! Well I am so very impressed with your Dodge Xplorer, I had no idea Dodge had a van/RV of that kind!!
+Phillip Lozano They were made by the Xplorer Company who did conversions of the Dodge Van platform.
Oh so cool, wish I had the luck of finding one...
All your work has paid off well on this. If you ever decide to sell, it will be snatched up at top dollar. Downside is it also makes all the Xplorers more expensive to purchase. I want one!
Roadtrek, Pleasure way and Liesure Travel are good alternatives.
nice and clean vehicle, great attitude! what a pleasure to watch! +1
Very nice! Thanks for sharing!
Steve, you've really done a great job of freshening it up...looks like a new van! Just wondering what your thoughts are on the 3rd seat vs the couch setup? Love your videos. You are a cool dude.
VERY INFORMATIVE TOUR, IT LOOKS LIKE YOU FIXED ALL THE DELAMINATION ON THE CABINETS. Oh poop I wrote caps, dont mean to shout.
I really loved it!
Size is almost the class C!
Bathroom and all!
I really loved it! Someone should make a new one! And it is almost stealthy
Fantastic motorhome, this Brit in Wyoming loves it!!!
I'm guessing these type of vans are Crazy money though????
It more or less has Everything you would need for living and traveling full time!
I could live in that, it's Fantastic!
10 out of 10
van looks brand new!!!

D Chan will do, thanks!
Very impressive class b. I was noticing though you have a gas stove but didn't see any venting for it.
Dream van right here! I’m happy with my trailer but I kinda fantasize about a smaller RV.
The layout is good. There's a lot of blue but, other than that, I could live in this rig.
Best class b van I've seen in the 2 years I've been following. It's a bit bigger then the roadtrek. Roadtrek engine is 318 I believe.
Beautiful I would never let it go ♥️👍♥️
Very well videoed. Thanks for sharing

I am getting about 9.5 around the house when not towing. Best ever 10.73. I don't have any long interstate mileage yet to check.
Hey Kevin, sorry to hijack your comment but since you mentioned beds... did you find the slide out bed in the fiesta to be not worth it after a while? i SUPER LOVE your RV
Enjoying your videos...thnx.....rob/New Orleans
Really nice van. 👍🏻
A+++++ tour. Thanks a lot :)
Great video!
One of the best I've seen,I like the layout.how much would you pay for something as good as this.pp.UK.
Love love love the glasses
Yes. I have a 26' ford citation and love it. But it's old (86) and needs to go to a person who is also a handyman.
I have been looking for a similar floor plan out there as to what I have.....but smaller....maybe 22-24'......
Thanks for the video.
Great presentation! The rig speaks for itself. Very hard to find and expensive! It's all about parking. I had to settle for something larger with much less driveability. '03 Jamboree 26Q., all covered up waiting for Spring. michigan

Great video! I would go right out and snap one up today if I could. I have limited experience driving vehicles this size. What would you suggest as a good source for the practical application of B class RV training?
Now that, is luxury.
From out side the van didn't look that big. But inside tour gave a totally different picture. It is perfect.
+Linexust Jk It is deceptive.
I am all about people who like to modify/fix vehicles. I subscribed. It looks really low-key which is what you were looking for I assume. Maybe one day I'll upload videos of my vehicles. If I was single I might get into the whole RV movement. Oh well.
+Frank Jr. I like the RV. It feels like home wherever I am.
Beautiful.
