  • Ok, I know in the video I said the 2x4s were 8 feet but, they were 10ft!!! However, you DO NOT need 10ft boards, that’s why I said what I said 😅. Two 2x4x8 will be just enough!
    Also, I forgot to mention in the video that home depot will actually cut plywood for you! If you don't have any saws at home you can simply have them cut the 2x4s straight instead of on an angle. So, then your legs would be RECTANGULAR and not in the shape I decided to do! With that said the measurements for RECTANGULAR legs could be something like 24x29.
    Thank you so much for watching my video!
    Measurements:
    Table top: 65 inches long, 35 inches wide
    Leg cuts:
    -Two 29 inch side pieces
    -One 10 inch top piece
    -One 24 inch bottom piece
    Plywood: thd.co/3kpl7L5
    Boards: thd.co/3dR6IpE
    Edgebanding: thd.co/3dOXslP

    I love this video! Just note that this table will cost over $80 now due to the higher cost of lumber, the plywood is $60, boards are $8.50 each, 8oz stain is $5, 8oz polyurethane is $10 and edge taping is $8. Totaling $100

  • @ericawilliams18
    @ericawilliams18 Před 2 lety +1

    For those need help on the angles . She didn’t explain it clearly . however this might help All the angles are 45 however The directions are not all pointed in the same direction for the sides . So at the bottom they point out and the top is pointed in. If you keep your board at 45 measure 28 inches and do not flip the board for the sides . However when you do the top and bottom make a 45 degree angle then flip the board and make the next. That’s how you get the top and bottom

      Could you maybe explain how this is working? If its a 45 degree angle I'd think then the base and height are gonna be the same length and so the base is going to be super broad and the height's only gonna be around 10 inches but it doesn't look like that so im confused how its working? I just don't want to make the wrong cuts and then waste the wood

    Hello! I did all 45° angles and it didn't work at all 😭 I did them the same direction you did. Are you sure its not 15°? 45 is a harsh angle and yours looks more blunt..

    • @maynunez
      @maynunez  Před 2 lety

    • @trinaija
      @trinaija Před 2 lety +1

      ..that does not look like 45 degrees at all and at 45 degrees your original 3 pieces if they are flush would fit like a square and not a trapezoid. Im having a similar issue
