      This was great, thanks, I been tryin to find out about "build furniture with 2x4" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Venoffison Wooden Exploration - (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? Ive heard some interesting things about it and my friend got great results with it.

    Is the biscuit jointer's better than pocket holing and screw each board to each other? Mine never end up as flush as I want.. So I was starting to think about a biscuit jointer.

    Very impressive build and the final product looks great. I like the design of the base. Does the "t" concept add some stability to the table. I recently did a table with meal legs and I felt that there is too much "wobble" ie it shakes a little too much for me Thinking that the t shape may help eliminate that Thoughts Steve

    Nice table!
    I see you've got the Mirka Deros sander. I've working on a counter top that will need lots of sanding, and I've been thinking of buying that same sander, though probably without the dust extractor. (I've already got a good extractor.) How long have you had the Deros, and how much do you like it?

    • @Fixthisbuildthat
      @Fixthisbuildthat  Pƙed 4 lety

      I've had it for a couple months now and I like it a lot! The paddle is nice and the 6" pad makes sanding go fast. I was hoping it would completely eliminate vibration but it doesn't. Though it's definitely nicer than my old RIDGID

    • @laurawerner
      @laurawerner Pƙed 4 lety

      Fix This Build That Thanks! I'm sure it will be a step up from my 20-year-old DeWalt sander. Do you have the one with a 2.5mm orbit, or the 5.0mm? Do you think it matters? I'm leaning towards the 2.5mm one since I'll mostly be using it for finish sanding, and I've read that the smaller orbits are better for that.
