- Hi!
When I was gearing up to move to San Diego, I remember watching these San Diego neighborhood guide videos because I knew nothing about where to live in the city. So now that I've lived here for more than a year, I thought I'd make one of my own! I live in Pacific Beach and go into detail on all the neighborhoods that I'm most familiar with. Please feel free to comment your thoughts/opinions as well!

This was exactly the video I needed to see. Thanks for making this!
This video was very helpful! I’m from Nor Cal too! I’m hoping to move down to San Diego next year if I get accepted to SDSU Doctorate of Physical Therapy program. Visited SD a couple times in the last two years and loved it and it is beautiful down there! SD maybe where I’d like to establish my roots after PT school.
Very informative 👍👍👍 thanks for making this video!
This was so helpful. I am moving to SD in a month and looking to live in La Jolla and this confirmed my feeling towards it haha.
Yay glad it was helpful, good luck on your move!😊
“Kind of lacks diversity but that’s everywhere in San Diego.” So true lol…As a black male that’s just moved to North Park San Diego from Charlotte, NC. I need to go to PB more
Very helpfull! I loved the PB vibe ❤
Great video! Thanks so much!
Thank you so much this was a huge help.
Awesome vid!
I stayed at Mission Valey last month. It was really good 😊
Very helpful
If you live away from Garnet and Grand Ave's in PB it is very nice and quiet. PB is a SoCal beach town at its best, very walkable and bike-able and affordable compared to most other SoCal beach downs. Yes, expensive compared to the rest of the US put cheap compared to other SoCal beach towns.
Not a lot to do in Clairemont yes, but it’s super central! Very convenient!
What is the best way to look for a room for rent in San Isidro in San Diego California? Am from San Jose California
Pb is great if your in college. North park is good like you said for your mid 20s and don’t want to deal with all the crazy frat bros lol and more variety for stores and restaurants
You pretty much nailed San Diego for 20s and 30s. I’ve lived in pb since my 20s and never wanted to move. Gas lamp is fun to party in but wouldn’t want to live there. If you’re single, live as close to pb as possible based on your income. Everyone comes here. Once you’re settled down, buy what you can afford 😢
I’m going to be the fly in the ointment sorry, I was born and raised in San Diego, my great grandparents moved there in 1905, so to say I know the history of sd would be an understatement. I was raised in PB and have seen the changes thru the many decades. I left 3 years ago to Asheville North Carolina. San Diego is simply not what it was unfortunately, it’s to crowded , expensive I suppose ( I can certainly afford live anywhere I choose but it’s way overpriced, but the biggest problem is what was once a very clean city is now filthy and full of homeless people. It’s sad to see what it’s turned in to.
Thanks for creating video. I will be moving to SD in 2 months. Is there a homeless problem in little Italy or Gaslamp? thanks
Yea there is definitely more homeless people downtown (more so gaslamp than little Italy) compared to like pacific beach
Sweet❤
Love OB
I am 30 , I am very very outgoing and outdoorsy, I love hiking, I love the beach ( I am from Baja California Sur, México a beach city ) I have been living in Pennsylvania for 6 years but is so depressing and alone. Where would be the best for me to live ? I am also single haha and looking to date hahah .
Basically l love doing activities anything outside.
Where would be the best place for a group of 4 dudes all 25, we've been looking in PB but as you mentioned really hard to find rentals with that many bedrooms.
Yea I would probably split up the group and find 2 bedrooms close together in PB, 4 bedrooms are tough unless you’re in like clairemont
I'm sorry did you said 1300 for rent?! 😲 In SD that's great!
👍
PB is a party neighborhood
Where’s the best place for a single late 30’s guy? I’ll be moving from Nyc and won’t know anyone
I’d say maybe north park, little Italy, or OB!
Pacific Beach. Guys get older, girls stay the same age
Main chick is so mid how could you say that when PB has a Dave’s right there. Shameful
