Can't believe it on watching this.First boat passing by a Le Boat hire boat. In 3 hours time i;m off to the Thames Barbel fishing and no doubt the first boat of the day will be a Le Boat hire craft. Great video

There a menace on the Thames le boat rentals , one wedged in entrance to lock recently in front of me and another up on grass verge last year 😂

@@jim_lightfoot No such thing as bad bits on tranquil rivers in France. The Charante is another river worth looking at, I’ve seen some whacking fish in there, but I’ve never had my gear or the time to try for them properly.

Cheers James 😀 all depends how active the small silver fish are, if they are active & eating my maize then maybe every couple of hours. If not then normally after a pick up 👍🏻👍🏻
How you prepaire a corn?do you put a somthing in corn when you cocing?
Nothing..just soak in water for 24hrs then boil for about 30mins. I do about 25kg at a time in a big boiler 😀🎣

Hi Andrew, I’d say roughly about 50% of public waters in France allow night fishing. Each region has their own federation website which you can check on 👍🏻👍🏻🎣
How come you don’t put a small PVA nugget on the hook when you cast?! That way absolutely no worries about tangles or catching a leaf. I’m amazed. Nice video thanks 👍

I’m mainly fishing stretches which have no track record so there’s no info out there. Just pick a part of France you fancy, go on the regional aappma website & it will tell you what rivers you can night fish. Then it’s just a case of wandering the banks until you see an area you fancy & go for it👍🏻🎣
