@@theoneandonlycordice5025 lol thought that was you , hope your well and still fishing 🎣 Jack showed me a pic today of a mirror he had out that stretch at 28lb when you and him fished it . Jack said you both new matey who lives in the house

Oi oi up on the grand junction 👍 got the nice pub on bridge for food and pint . Get the rod out on marsworth 👍🎣🎣🎣
It's just a short Helicopter Rig and that's all I ever fish since the 90s
This is exactly why nash alarms are shit 😂big props to Alan tho what a legend 👌🏼
Not a single beep ????
Wait till the Otters turn up 😢
Why do people not like nash I like it
@@GoneFishingVlog I agree I hear so many people saying it’s rubbish but I love it proper nice gear I know they don’t pay so many good anglers like others but so what
@@ttvtommybtw I think currently Nash have the most exciting group of anglers when it comes to content. I don’t use there bait but very much appreciate there brand appeal. Don’t use the bait because I’ve not tried it not because I dislike it. I’m an outlaw pro kinda guy
I don't not like Nash, I just don't use it. It's one less thing to think about.
Quality has gone massively down hill used my bank life block house once last week on Thorpe Lea absolutely rubbish water ingress and material shocking took it back paid extra £120 bought tempest 200 aquatex
If you followed the path you’d come into other boat yard where pub is on bridge all boarded up now and has been many years was proper decent for an old carp and some big uns until the certain ethnic people nicked them for dinner now none left
Biggest I've had out of that stretch that he's fishing was a 29lb mirror in 2010 but was prob the same fish as you mentioned your mate had above, not many scales, quite round, not pretty but not ugly. I've had a 23lb pristine common from next to the inflow on the long Wilstone stretch some decent upper doubles from the same stretch, again around 2010. Stretch opposite the reservoirs has done me well in the past biggest 21lb very grey scared mirror, cool looking fish. I walked from wilstone to near Aylesbury in 2019 one winters night with a spotlight and saw nothing but a 5" pike. Back in the mid 90's there was 2 different carp over 30lb in the wilstone stretch alone. (I was born in wilstone, moved away in my teens but went back a ton, have done many many nights all round there in its heyday)
Saw my 1st ever carp under that bridge in 1979 , hooked ever since . Also had 4 chub from the bank on the other side of the bridge where the water flows along , happy memories .
In fact right under that bush opposite where you were camped , trotting a float with red maggot ! Think it was a red burry bush .
