- We are heading to Madhya Pradesh, the land of incredible palaces, magnificent forts and Buddhism. We decided to start the MP trip from the royal city of Gwalior and we decided to travel from Delhi to Gwalior by road. A road trip during the pandemic requires proper precautions and we share all of these. So our Madhya Pradesh tour commenced from Delhi after a lovely lunch and a little later we got on to the Yamuna expressway. There was quite a bit of traffic and it took us 5 hours to reach Agra. We initially thought of by-passing Agra but Prashant's craving for Pethas took us inside the city. We first headed to view the incredible Taj Mahal and then gorged on some delicious pethas. With cravings satisfied, we continued on our drive to #Gwalior. But there were road blocks up ahead. First there was a 30 minute traffic jam near Morena and then we were caught in a 2 hour long traffic jam just as we were entering Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. So the 6 hour Delhi to Gwalior drive took us more than eight hours to reach!

Is there any other connectivity from express way to Gwalior highway ?
Yes there is another route - you can bypass Agra via the Manpur-Sauj road (inner ring road). This goes via Kuberpur and joins the Mumbai-agra national highway.
