Burris, Optical 🔥. I use the signature series rings with my XTR II on a 30 MOA rail, put 15 MOA in the rings and can dial out past 1 mile 💪🏽

I just bought a browning western hunter 300 prc. I'm wondering about a set up for a scope , rail and rings for 30mmscope most likley. I have to start somewhere.

I'd recommend a one piece rail from www.egwguns.com and a Veracity if you'll be hunting.

What setup with burris scope would You reccomend for tikka t3x tact a1 ? Looking for shooting 1 000 metres (1 000+ yards) ?

Thanks for stopping by! For your Tikka I'd recommend an XTR III, or XTR Pro depending on your price range. That will allow you to go well beyond 1000 yards with the right setup.

    New Hunter in Colorado.
    Budget - $200.
    Gun - 30.06 Tikka T3X
Scope -?? Which Burris do you recommend?

The general rule of thumb is to spend as much on the glass as you do on the gun so your optics budget isn't going to quite meet up with that. If you're hunting with that gun (and with a 30-06 I'm guessing you are) I would probably go with the Burris Droptine 3-9x40. Its a quality scope with steel components (very hard to find that level of durability at this price point) and a BDC reticle that will let you shoot out to 600 yards with good confidence and still has a Forever Warranty for under $150. That will save you a few bucks to put towards other things you need as a new hunter or give you some leftover to save for a high quality scope down the road. Here's an article from Game and Fish on that optic for some additional perspective... www.gameandfishmag.com/editorial/burris-droptine-scope-review/387030

I own a XTR 3 5,5-30 and a Eratac block mount. Can you please tell me how much Nm is the tightening torque of the rings? Kind regards from Austria 😃

Are the torque spec based off the scope or the rings.

I really like those rings. Soon as my RT25 arrives and I figure what height rings to order. Anyone have a RT25 mounted on a Ruger RPR short action? If so what height rings? I’ve used and own those laser sight rounds, they work ok but I’ve always physically bore sighted.

Lousy and waste of time video. You repeatedly say to “PROPERLY TORQUE” the screws. You left out the most important information - what is the proper TORQUE?

    • @BurrisOpticsCompany
      @BurrisOpticsCompany  Před 5 měsíci

That is completely dependent on the product. All of our torque specs can be found on each website product page for products that require a torque value, in the provided user guide at purchase, or you can see each torque value in our FAQ's.
      www.burrisoptics.com/support/faqs#question-475
If you are looking for specifics for the rings and bases used in this video, the bases are 30 inch lbs per screw, the rings are 20 inch lbs per screw for the ring tops, and 45 inch lbs for each cross bolts. But... we are not sure what you will be using, so it was not specified in the video.
If you are not using Burris rings or bases consult with the manufacturer of the product for proper torque specs.
      Hope this helps.
