After about 4k rpm these stock tunes engines drop of with the boost. Uhh very surprised how slow that 0-60 was. My manual 06 T5 S40 hits it in less than 6 seconds

This car had some mechanical issues. It should be WAY faster. It would cut power.

i came here to say this, but even worse, my manual 2.4i 2005 is also faster.
My guess being on the trans being fat and sluggish compared to dropping gears with the MT

These p1 t5s need stage 1 tune, they are restricted to 220-230hp so they run on even the shittiest fuel. My s40 with 250-270hp goes to 100 in low 6s. AWD with geartronic

Thinking the trans needs a multi gallon flush (no one ever does this and needs to be done at some stage). Then in software do: fluid counter reset on the TCM (so computer knows it’s new fluid and can run closer to new).
All can be easily done with a range of bidirectional scan tools. Or cracked vida software or Vdash 2.0. All in all, $200-ish assuming got a cable already, and are using OE fluid for the first flush of ownership (highly reccomended), and an afternoon and you’ll have even perkier S40.

It's kinda hard to see the tachometer but it seems like it was short shifting pretty severely. That would definitely slow it down. My V70 is doing ... sigh ... 15 seconds 0-60 even shifting at 6.2k. I'm getting that looked into later.

Are you hitting the button at the end of the gas pedal?
