    Thank you so much for doing this video. I had no trouble following your instructions to replace the batteries in our mobility scooter. 👍

    just what I needed, thank you. Our local "medical equipment company" wanted $600.00 to replace the batteries for a woman on a fixed income. Two new batteries, $50 and about an hour of my time.

    Really a well done, down and dirty, “how to” video. Very Instructive. I now feel confident enough to try it myself.

    Well done! I used your video the first time replacing my batteries, and again this second time to refresh my memory of the terminal wire replacement order. Thanks!

    Your tutorial was very helpful. One suggestion. Show how to remove the battery pack from the scooter. That took a little bit of pulling in the right direction.
    Thank you for your help.

    Thank you so much for this video! I really needed it!! Now, I just need someone with muscle to yank the battery off the scooter for me. I can't budge it using all my strength!! But, this video will be helpful once I'm ready to change it. Once again, I thank you.

    Hi stretchman
    I have a "Invacare Meteor" mobility scooter that has an Invacare 24v CHARGER. Unfortunately it doesnt seem to be charging the batteries. Not sure if this is normal but charger shows a zero open circuit voltage when switched on (before I plug it in). Unfortunately I let the batteries fully discharge. Could u tell me if these smart chargers should show such a voltage. The two relatively new gel batteries still show 13.3 volts each. any suggestions
    Thanking u in advance
    Gerry

    • @stretchman0
      @stretchman0  Před 6 lety

      Hi Ben it all depends on the batteries you use I did actually found the cheaper batteries I bought did not last that long unfortunately maybe a more expensive battery would have been better. Thank you for watching

      Terry Moyens hi my wife no longer has this model but if I remember correctly there is a lever that you have to pull back to release it thank you

    • @jamesdillon3359
      @jamesdillon3359 Před 3 lety

      Just lift, takes strong pull. It is held in place by 4 velcro pads.

    • @jamesdillon3359
      @jamesdillon3359 Před 3 lety

      Pulling the lever in the back releases the rear wheels. Not necessary.
