Delux has reed plates fixed to the comb with screws, easier to open for maintenance for those who do maintenance on their own. 270 reed plates are fixed to the comb by nails. 2. The slider is shorter in Delux as compared to 270 Yes, rightly said - it's indeed a matter of personal preference.
Sir I have heard the sound of both 270 and 270 dluxe. and I feel that the sound of270 deluxe is much louder but sound and tnal quality of conventional 270 is much more sweet and soft than 270 deluxe. S.mukherjee😊
I played both the harmonica as per my experience though I am a learner, I find 270 much better and easy as compare with Deluxe. Deluxe is a best choice for those who are expert in playing harmonica.
The 270 deluxe has stainless steel cover plates, whereas the 270 has nickel plated ones. Also, I noted that the spring tension on the deluxe is less, as compared to.270. I prefer th stiffer 270. Also the 270 has a sharp edge on the mouth piece.

Is the deluxe model easy on isolating each hole like the ease we have in playing a 24 hole songstar which you also use frequently. Also do we have different scales in 24 hole chromatic harmonica like songstar other than A scale and C scale.

Personally i dont like the front plate design. They could have given the round mouthpiece along with holes .hohner is totally following the footsteps of nokia

I found both almost similar
I have heard 270 Deluxe and found the lower octave richer than normal 270.
I think in both the slider can be reversed. An important point for people who prefer playing with reverse slider.
Sir I am confused about Hohner super chromonica and East top King Dream. Please suggest. I am beginner and currently playing East top Forerunner.
