Sir, this was certainly a very informative video clearing lots of doubts and confusions regarding different scale of harmonicas. Sir, I would further request you to please make a video playing one song on different scale harmonicas (Say A Scale or G Scale) eg. "Lakhon Hain Nigahon Mein" song which have lots of C, D, E Swars of high octave in its stanza. Best Regards.

Sir one query!! Often I have noticed that Kishore da songs require lot of slider movement if played on original track. Some songs you have to keep the slider button pressed throughout. My question is if I buy a different scale harmonica, can I get rid of this problem, of pressing slider button too many times.

After some use now some service required in respect of windsafers, tuning etc. Whether anyone is there in India to whom it can be sent for changing windsafers? Whether you can help me. Puck is a limited range harmonica. But it is very good to play some melodious songs. Better get chromatic harmonica also.

Of all songs, I presume 40% can be attended to with C key. 30%with G. I mean song to play with a single harmonica. And when high notes, with G low notes with A or D. If I am wrong, plz correct and reply Sir.

Interesting video. DD jee, what is your opinion about the key of F. My experience is that a number of old Bollywood songs are in F or F#. Do you think it would be a good key?
In my opinion, the original scale of song doesn't matter when you are playing on Harmonica. There are other scales also like G that has many songs

Dear Doctor, I follow your posts/uploads regularly and they are quite full of explanation. Here at this point I would like to make a humble request that "If you please try using terms like Sa, Re, Ga, Ma......." instead if C, D, E....... and so on, it will be most simple for even those who are not used to C, D, etc. We majority in India don't have that culture in vogue. We understand Sa Re Ga Ma..... quite clearly.
Like, in simple language I too would like to ask a question that "If in a Harmonica in key of C we get Sa on 1st, 5th & 9th hole in C Scale, what would we get on the same holes in a Harmonica in Key of D or G or F# ? And in which Scale ?
Also, if you can give a practical demonstration of the same, it will be most helpfull.
I hope you look at this comment in a right perspective and give it a serious thought. Without a practical demo, most of the things are lost/forgotten or at times confused.
You are a knowledgeable person in this field and can understand this well. Hope you consider my request wholeheartedly. Thank you, Sir.
For D scale harmonica, D will become Sa and 1st 5th and 9th hole will have D note

In fact I experienced the problem of playing high notes for song RANGOLI SAJAVO Antara part (when I tried with karaoke, the Antara part volume becomes very low and can not be enjoyed) I have C scale harmonica. If I start the song from previous octave, Antara part could be become melodious but mukhda will not be good and enjoyable. As per your perception, please inform will it be enjoyable if I play on A scale? Kindly clarify.

Will do some reasearch on this also, but yes, F and E seem to be good options.

If you are able to play any song on C scale Harmonica you can always plate on A scale

Dear sir I have a C# Harmonica brass comb 16 hole and I am planing to reverse it then it will be of D in higher side 🙏🏻
If it is already reversed then it will become C. U need to check the tuning of the harmonica.

Since you already have a 12 hole, u may look for 16 hole if u like.
