- Thanks for joining me for the first part of my journey through building a functional school in Sims 2! I will start building, adding lots of cool clubs and different areas and tell you different mods I plan on using to make my school work how I want! This school is going to be used in season 3 of my Asylum letsplay series!

i'm not the greatest at expressing myself so i never know how to tell you how much i love your videos. you're so talented at both "film"making and building and the way you capture the best parts of the sims 2 is honestly awe inspiring. i love watching your videos, but your build videos especially are always so captivating. your builds always look so alive, in a way that resembles how "alive" the sims 2 sims are. idk how else to describe it but basically you're my fave sims 2 content creator because of this! tldr you slay the house down mamas yass queen etc etc

The sims 2 graphics have such a great potential, just imagine the lighting and environment effects brought up to date : that would be beautiful
definitely!! The art direction and detail of sims 2 is so on point, it would be amazing to see it all remastered foreal! we can dream! lol ❤️
i loved the nancy drew games when i was little!
omg yesss! the nancy drew games were sooo good! I used to save up my allowance when I was little and buy the 2-packs of them that were $20 and then I would get so scared by them I would cry to my mom how I regretted buying them...then I would go back and keep playing LOL. Which one was your fave?? ❤️

oh, I really like your approach to the school! I always struggle with how micro-manage-y they can get too, having it mainly be for clubs is a fun way to handle it. I love the way the build came out!
thanks katatty!! Yeah I'm really hope my club concept will work, gotta play test it a bit more and see if I can find that sweet spot between micro-managing and completely hands-off chaos. 😁

I love your build videos, you're so patient and creative! I love seeing people thinking outside the box, like you did with the frankenbooths for instance.
I wish I enjoyed building more but it's generally my least favorite part of the game. When the inspiration does strike it's usually for some community building that sees no use during regular gameplay, like a clinic or a school. Recently I put a lot of work into making a little police station and I'm really proud of how it came out but I can't think of any way to actually use it in my gameplay so it just sits there in my hood, fully decorated. 😅Any plans to show off how this lot works in practice? Like you I'm not into the heavy micromanagement that actual school mods require but I find your method interesting. Maybe I'll do something similar with my high school once my current hood actually has some teens in it.
aw thank you I'm so glad you like my builds! I definitely relate about building community lots and being like...how do I make gameplay in here that makes sense?? I will definitely try to show off how I make the lot work! Still working out a few things that aren't working exactly how I want but I could make a video showing how to run my lazy club school when I get it all perfected (As much as sims 2 lets us lol). ❤️

Your builds are always so cozy and charming! I know there's a ton of cc here, but would you consider ever uploading this or other builds? I don't have the attention span to play a fully functioning school, but I love your idea of having different clubs and hangout spots!

Oh. My. God. When you said the footage was 18 hours long, I knew this would be detailed. But you blew me away anyway 🤯Seeing the sims walk around and interracting with the build was so great - I can't get over that library front desk, it looks sooo good!!! Also the classroom: gorgeous! The lab: amazing! The build exterior: stunning! And counter desks??? Excuse me??? Never heard of it but now I desperately need to try it out - one of those things I've wished were possible in the game before but never thought would happen. Also, I love your approach to school game play - after all: what's most fun about it is for the teens to meet, hang out and learn some skills imo. Can't wait to see the next part of this ⭐

Wow, it's so inspiring! I love all the little details like the basket ball on the roof. And I like how you made the lot feel grounded and realistic while very cosy at the same time. Your narration is also very informative but chill so it's a great balance. And I totally get wanting to have a functional school for sims but not wanting to micromanage it. Anyway, I randomly stumbled upon this video while in a sims rut and I'll definitely watch more. It's great to see there's still quality content for Sims 2 being put out there

Love this school so far! And I really like the concept of using it as more of a hobby club. I’m working on a long-term project of lots that are focused on different hobbies so this is inspiring! Also so random but I love the touch of the dead grass on the pavement, so correct!!

thank you! yes definitely it's intimidating! especially with all the different mods you can use and how people play them so many different ways. I'm really hopeful as I play it more I can work out a system I like! 😁

thank you! haha tbh I have barely used discord! 😅 I think I might feel a bit of pressure at having that much responsibility to have a discord in my name, but I won't completely rule it out possibly in the future. But I've heard that Lazy Duchess and TeaAddict both have pretty active sims 2 communities on discord!
wow amazing ! how do you get multiple items moving freely on a desk for example when i try to layer they alwayq go on the same place ! is there a cheat or mod please help
thank you!! I have default replacements that add extra slots to the maxis items! I put some links in the description for you (labelled MOAR Slots)
When you have more than one slot on a surface, just press "m" to move items through the different locations! :)

i will upload it in the future for sure, it will just take me quite a lot of effort to package it up because of the cc so I want to get further in my story series i'm working on first.
