Do the solar panels have an in-game purpose or was this back when they were merely decorative?
I know Sims 2 and 3 had eco-living items that just reduce the cost of bills, but I cannot remember if Sims 2 did that.
Eco-Living was probably something that will forever be a part of Sims 4's legacy.
Yes, they lower your bills. If you make make more than you consume you receive a credit note 🌞💰
@MiuMiu006 is correct, it does lower your bill. The game also reimburses you if you make more energy that you consume using these solar panels.

I have got a problem for Sims 2 Ultimate Collection. Few days ago I started the game and I didn't even save anything but today it's not working I got some error on screen. Game didn't start just EA launch opened and I tried start on launch but it didn't work. Sims 2 just in EA games launcher Origin isn't usefull anymore but I couldn't find config file and other things can you help about that what can I do?🙏🏻 It's not working I got some error on EA Games Launch screen "you can double click on game tiles to quickly launch a game" Please can you help me?🙏🏻
I got my version of the Sims 2 Ultimate Collection at Old Games Download site. It doesn't have the IKEA stuff pack thought but definitely a less hassle version of using an origin launcher. I don't think Origin supports sims 2 anymore, it has become completely free.
@@zoraidascope3001 My old computer had a 4 GB graphics card and I was able to play Sims 2 on Origin even in the past weeks. So, you can still play the game on Origin, but I don't know how this is done on the latest graphics cards and Windows 11 via Origin. Now I bought a new computer and I want to reinstall it with the latest settings but I don't remember what I installed and the laptop. I bought an Asus rog Strix 18 which means its graphics card and features are quite high. For this reason, I don't know how I should install it. Of course, there are free pages but I do not prefer them in case of viruses or compatibility problems in the future. I use it as an architect, I can't risk losing my drawing files.
