  • How to install VW China OEM power-mirrors and swap over glass and harness for cars with BSM (Blind-Spot Monitoring). I made this video since I haven't seen any others on CZcams and wanted to show folks that they can save a nice chunk of money by buying this set and putting in a little extra effort to swap over the BSM bits.
I have purchased three sets for my car and customers, so I can highly recommend this seller. Quality is excellent, you wouldn't notice that these aren't the true OEM mirrors. Shipping was fast, I received orders within a week of ordering!
***PLEASE NOTE*** that only specific door modules actually support power folding functionality. GTI/R cars should all be good to go and I have confirmed personally that Alltracks are also good to go. This video shows install on a '16 Golf Sportwagen SEL and power folding functionality was NOT supported.
Should you decide to proceed, please purchase the following door modules which have been shown to allow for power folding functionality:
    aliexpress.us/item/2251832671...
AliExpress Mk7 power-folding mirrors (non-BSM) with white or black caps, new mirror switch, and replacement door panel clips:
    aliexpress.us/item/2251832339...
OBDeleven or VAGCOM is recommended to complete the necessary coding below for full functionality.
Below are the instructions for coding the power folding mirrors and puddle lights. When doing the coding for the mirrors and searching for Access Control 2, it will not be found. Instead look for Spiegelverstellung. This will have the necessary selection
To enable lock/unlock power folding mirrors with key fob:
    [09] Central Electronics
[16] Security Access - Code is 31347, click "Do it!"
[10] Adaptation, choose from the drop down channel
[23] - Access control 2 - Funk Spiegelanklappen change to "active", click do it
[26] - Access control 2 - Menuesteuerung Funkspiegelanklappen change to “active”
[24] - Access control 2 - Funk Spiegelanklappung Modus change to “by look command via remote control key”
    Then in the car….
    In the Media display
    Click "Car"
    "Setup"
"Mirrors & Wipers", select the option for “Fold away after parking.
To enable field lights on side mirrors:
    [42] Door Electronics Driver Side
    - Long Coding
    -front_field_light -- active
    -turn_off_front_field_light_with_folded_mirror -- active
    [52] Door Electronics Passenger Side

Not sure what you mean by the commands are mixed up?
By module do you mean the door module itself? The correct module to allow for power folding operation would be part # 5Q4 959 593(2) (driver and passenger side respectively)
Keep in mind I had to buy these too, but the power folding option for coding was not available. I was confused and upset about this at first, thinking I spent money for no reason. I put back the original door modules and for some odd reason, the coding option was now available.
