I actually went to a lot of therapy due to being critical of myself, having a ficade in day to day encounters making sure to never give my mother a "shamed face" up until my early 20s.
I broke down, couldn't wake up and keep up the fake persona, I just wanted to stay in my small apartment not having to proove myself to anyone.
Decided to go to therapy and through that I learned that despite how I act that I never actually have control over someone's perception of me. I can try to manipulate their perception through a ficade but I can't control it. It was when I realized that the only thing I can control fully is myself that I finally stopped trying to be someone else.
I finally found comfort in my own skin and no longer hated myself for not being what people wanted me to be.
    Gonna read the book Pewds.

The person he is when he plays games is over the top and trying to be funny. The person he is here isn't trying to prove anything, just talking, sharing opinions, and reviewing books. " There's two sides of the coin in life. You're gonna be happy sometimes, and you're gonna be unhappy sometimes.
And you can just hope that you end up in one side more than the other.
Just because you endure a lot of pain and a lot of bad behaviour, and just because you're a good person and work really hard for the things you love, that doesn't necessarily mean happiness is some sort of reward or something that's owed to you. It doesn't work like that. That's just the state of life and the balance we all have to go through."

Most people know the name “Dazai Osamu” from the Bungou Stray Dogs character but allow me to give a little context to the real author. Dazai Osamu is one of the big 3 classical japanese authors. His magnum opus and last book “No Longer Human” was based on Osamu’s life of constantly being shafted by the world to be quite honest. The book is almost a huge suicide note, and we see Osamu’s fall, as he would go on to drown himself after, being his first successful suicide attempt after many attempts beforehand.

Dostoevsky can sometimes be boring and grim, but man, I enjoyed his works when I was younger, like The Idiot, Crime and Punishment, The Brothers Karamazov, and particularly The Possessed. He has a deep understanding of human psychology and the tragedies portrayed in his novels are in a way enjoyably comical. I find it ironic how I no longer read books and can barely watch anything longer than a sitcom.

I just wanna talk about something serious and important recently. If anyone of you has a friend who is in jail, or went there. Some of those people may be in great isolation from others, all day more than 8 hours, your only contact is with the guard who brings your meals. Then nothing. In a foreign country, any reading material they might have is in another language, and may be difficult to understand, or impossible to read. If anyone knows a friend who went to jail, specially if they are in another foreign country.. there are 2 things that could save their life, that you may not know. 1. is if you personally bought and brought them books. 2. is if you contacted the embassy on their behalf, and asked them to please bring some books for your friend. My whole point is if you do not have contact with someone in a jail/prison/detention cell, for an extended period of time.. it is easy to go crazy. One thing could save these people.. books. So if you know someone, please physically bring them a book. Or I guess you could send used books to a local jail. The point is in this case, books actually do save lives. I know because I experienced this. I was held for what seemed an eternity, but was actually only 30+ days, eventually the US embassy came, they brought me books, and this one thing alone saved me. I will never forget it. Please do the same for a friend if you can.

Letters are good too. Even if you don't feel like you have anything of interest to say. I don't lead a particularly exciting life (when things are going well anyway) so I often just report some news, write about my thoughts, describe weird dreams I've had etc. Pretty much anything is more exciting than jail (in the best case scenario anyway). Inmates make great pen-pals (they usually have to pay for stamps as far as I know so throwing even a couple of dollars on their books helps facilitate communication (among other things). Even if you don't personally know anyone in jail there are websites you can go to that will help you navigate the process and find an inmate who wants someone to write to. I'd imagine that the vast majority do though so you can even just go directly to the website of a correctional facility and randomly pick someone off of the inmate roster. It's fun for you and might mean the world to them. And if youre an artist its a cool way to practice and get feedback and they get some neat art :p

The Crime and Punishment is a really good book. It was included in my literature classes, since I studied in Russia, and it still remaines to be one of my favourites. Dostoevsky is really good at describing psychological state through different things, such as landscapes and others. I think this is the reason why I enjoyed this book so much, because it truly gives you opportunity to feel mentally sick. I think it is the statement of the Dostoevsky's talent. Btw am I the only one who noticed that Crime and Punishment a bit reminds of Death Note?

Books are merely One single persons Beliefs, imagination and creativity which one wants to express and is but an ideal, an ideal which one simply cannot reach. Whereas memes are the way which our generation can forget our difference and come together to celebrate memes. A way to spread the message through Dank or clean memes, a way to protest against the authority, a way to express the collective Voice, Beliefs, Statements, Creative of the people and most of all, it brings Joy, a sense of belongingness which Brings the people closer together. Memes are not bounded by race, culture, religion or nationality, it is one of the constant that unite the world.

Dostoevsky is a genius, his world is interesting. He's a prophet, he sees our world and our problems that was able to predict back in the mid-19th century. He sees people in depth, and reaches to the core. It helps to see others and yourself on an emotional level, and the problems of society, progress, freedom -on the spiritual and intellectual. This great writer was a profound psychologist. Read his books. They show such a depth of penetration into the human soul, which did not dream of modern psychotherapists.

I'll admit, I first picked up No Longer Human because I was watching Bungo Stray Dogs and I wanted to learn more about the man behind Dazai's character and I think it was one of the best choices I've ever made. The story is written in such a unique and beautiful way compared to other books that I've read. The way that Dazai describes how Oba feels is so raw and unfiltered yet eloquent and meaningful. Plus, for me personally, there are some segments of the book and Oba's character that I can really relate to in a way that I've never seen done in any other works that I've read. Especially regarding anxiety, putting on a mask, and desperately trying to please those around him to fit in. Of course there are also many parts of his character that I can't relate to (and I'm thankful for that) such as depression and suicide, but it was eye opening to get a glimpse into how it may feel to have these conditions. It really gave me a new outlook on both myself internally, how I project myself externally, and how others may do the same. Overall it was an amazing read that really touched my soul (and crushed it at times lol). As soon as I finished it I knew it would be my new favorite book and honestly it's one of the best books that I've read in a hot minute. I could probably talk about this book for hours if the person listening just let me ramble and put all of my thoughts out there
