- Blue Lock’s characters all possess unique weapons and playstyles specific to each player. But what is each player truly able to do with the weapons in their arsenal? Well that’s what I’ll be going over in this series called Blue Lock: Arsenal. For today’s video, I’ll be covering Ikki Niko, his playstyle, and the weapons in his arsenal.
Blue Lock (Japanese: ブルーロック, Hepburn: Burū Rokku) (stylized as BLUELOCK) is a Japanese manga series written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and illustrated by Yusuke Nomura. It has been serialized in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine since August 2018, with its chapters collected in 24 tankōbon volumes as of May 2023. In 2018, the Japanese national team finished 16th in the FIFA World Cup. As a result, the Japan Football Association hires the football enigma Ego Jinpachi. His master plan to lead Japan to stardom is Blue Lock, a training regimen designed to create the world's greatest egotist striker. Those who fail Blue Lock will never again be permitted to represent any Japanese team. Yoichi Isagi, an unknown high school football player conflicted about his playing style, decides to join the program to become the best striker in the world.
Neo Egoist League (ネオエゴイストリーグ Neo Egoisuto Rīgu?) is the final selection of the Blue Lock Project in preparation for the U-20 World Cup.
Ikki Niko (二に子こ 一い揮っき Niko Ikki?) is a contender of Blue Lock.
When first arriving at Blue Lock, he was a member of Team Y during the First Selection, and he was determined on surviving Blue Lock with the skills he already had, but after losing to Yoichi Isagi in the First Selection, he decided to stop being afraid and change to get better so that he could survive Blue Lock. He started as a center-back for the Blue Lock Eleven against the Japan U-20 and is currently a defensive midfielder for the Ubers during the Neo Egoist League.
