- Alright so sadly the blue lock manga is on break this week and because of that, I thought that rather than leaving you guys in the dust I would compile my 3 recent chapter reviews to make a full video where I go over Isagi's most recent goal! Where he created the newest and craziest weapon yet, the two-gun volley! Which also humbled both the new gen 11 Kaiser but also the number one neo-egoist league player Itoshi Rin!

my favorite part about this goal is that from the perspective of literally anyone in universe besides bastard munchin. Isagi looks like he's just styling for no reason because its technically a 2v1 in his favor
In universe, they are in a reality TV and everyone knows Kaiser and Isagi are beefing with each other.

Up until now the pattern isagi tries someone stops him then he thinks throughout the gane of how to score with jigsaw puzzle now at that moment itself he came up with a new solution not wasting that turn despite odds against him , he has come a long way from when sae stopped his direct shot now he adapts to any interference on the spot not after the chance
I was so excited from this goal because it reminded me of a shidou goal. Putting himself in an extreme situation and then making a ridiculous goal. Then the dichotomy of the different paths they took to make the goals a reality.

Can’t agree more on Kurona, he’s one of my favorites as well. I love how chill he is and hes loyal to Isagi, it reminds me of when Isagi mirrored Rin for the U20 Match. I think Kurona already has a defined ego that he hasn’t shown off yet. Despite that, he’s insane at ball possession and interception, as soon as he got out back in he popped off, but then….Magnus effect 😂

Natsu, just for your opinion. Does isagi really deserve this? I mean, Kaiser is better (at least manga telling us that) but he can beat him easily and score while he can't.And if he pass Rin too, isn't it too much for a player like him?
Imo Kaiser is still a better player because of his experience on the international stage, but he's letting his fixation with Isagi get the better of him. You could say the same for Rin too especially after his brother's comment at the end of the U-20 game

I love how the writer depicted this in rin mind he said he will block isagi shot in his left side and in Kaiser mind he will steal the ball in this right side but isagi used this weapon to beat both of them by doing a fake shot in his left stopping rin and shoot on his right side not trapping it beating Kaiser i love that this writer cooked😮😮
Honestly, I sometimes wonder how did we get from everyone wanting to be a striker to now half of the cast just kind of falling AND staying in the other roles
Obviously we have guys like Aiku, Hiori, Charles, who though Fuck em strikes, I want to be the best defender/mid fielder
But the rest of the guys? It's hard to strike when you're defending but I'd like to see that they haven't given up yet
I definitely get what you are saying, but I feel as though it does make sense from an ego and evolution standpoint. Some of the bluelock strikers didn’t really even have a striker mentality (Hiori, Aiku as you noted) but they were simply the best strikers in their area. Those with striker mentalities are still currently strikers for the most part. Like chigiri for example his mentality is to want to beat others with his speed more than necessarily being the best striker, and his position allows that. Aiku’s became not wanting any fraud strikers to make it past him if I remember correctly. How many players with a “I will be the number 1 striker” mentality aren’t at striker?
