  • The spin blur rotation effect will make a perfect transition for a scene that is centered around one object and might remind you of TV shows from the 90s.
Watch this tutorial and learn how to apply it by combining several video effects in a single spot on the timeline. All of them are available in the free version of VSDC Video Editor.

Awesome! I have seen others videos on VSDC, but yours seems to be the best. Point to point, meaningful. clear and lucid. Keep up the good work.

So the resampling and mirroring is just to keep from seeing the edges of the video, right?

If I wanted it to spin more than once, I’d need to add a second effect to the timeline, right? No way to just set the parameters for multiple spins on one effect?

Sorry about the bad explanation but here is how I figured out how to do it. To add multiple spins you would first take the original clip and then spin it as fast as you want in the keyframes (Make sure you go from 0 to 360 aka top to bottom.) Don't worry about the rest of the clip not spinning. Than go to the clip and split it where it stops spinning. It should do a second spin where it was split. Now both clips are spinning . Continue splitting like before until the clip is split into several spinning clips that act continuously. This is the only way that I know of in order to do it. Sorry if I misunderstood the question.

Increase the angle degree. type [0;720] or numbers that are bigger than 360 to get more than 1 rotation.

Can you show us how to do it without being a transition and having a duration across the whole clip?

I'd rather use another application just for that ONE effect, i will not make myself go hard just for that ONE TRANSITION effect
