Testing Out Hakurei Reimu 3D Rig

- It's been over two months since I got the rig and spent my time a couple hours almost everyday after work making this animation, and here my first rig testing, Reimu action animation!
All the credit goes to Chonlawat Thammawan (@mega_bubu [Twitter]) for this beautiful and incredible Hakurei Reimu model and rig for Maya, which probably public release next year(2021) for all Maya users, Touhou fans, and people who love to making animation.
And thanks for reaching out to me, I'm glad to have a chance to try and test this out and be a part of this project, making improvements, and I really have a good time and fun time with it.
Anyway, after this, I still have a couple planned to play around with this, experiment with something, and practice my animation skill further in the future, thanks and stay tuned!

FYI, I did Reimu(Miko) herself stepped on torii gate without my knowledge of culture, which might be offensive to some people, so I would say I apologized for that and didn't mean to, I just want something for her to climb on in empty space.
She is basically a holy warrior, pretty sure it's okay for her to use the gate as platform to maneuver
It’s okay Mochi-san. there’s a lot of FA with characters stand on top of Torii gate. I don’t think this is offensive and beside Reimu is a Miko in battle, let her step on whatever she want to avoid herself from damage. XD

I mean, it's Reimu, I'm pretty sure that even she doesn't care XD it's her shrine after all
It's Reimu, she would do it (I mean her shrine gets destroyed regardless of what she does)

So this is where this animation came from. So clean and fluid. You nailed that sense of gravity then transition into weightlessness really well.

The part where Reimu kick flipped off the torii was so hype. I was like, "Ohh I hope we get to see her flying in this vid--HELL YEAH!"
Seeing Reimu 3D animated while having cartoony art gave some nostalgia on some cartoons and games that did this.

Reminds me of action scenes from cartoons. Very bouncy and exaggerated. I like it a lot, it almost feels nostalgic.
I...need a full animated series, in this style. With the story and flow written like the Ducktales reboot: silly and whimsical, with serious undertone. I would back a project for it immediately.

I've watched a couple more of your Reimu animations and daaaang I love your animation style so much! The character animation has really organic bounce and weight to it and the expressions are really vivid, too, it's a treat to watch
The model's design gives me A Hat in Time vibes, as does the fluid animation~ I love when she did a flip off the torii gate and did a flip into the air! The transition between walking and flying feels natural. Like a cute, chibi MinusT.
