- This video is an upgrade video of the 2in1 circular saw slide guide.
I was often asked in the comments if there was a panel-saw video.
At first glance, the 2in1 circular saw slide guide doesn't look like a panel saw, so I decided to edit the video and republish it.

Please tell me, what is the model of the makita saw?
@@aneroidlake7521 You can see it at 10:00. モデル(model) M585.
I built the same machine for myself, but I had lots of wood dust, which I can't see on your video. How did you achieve it?
@@HS-cx1uh, many thanks
@@aneroidlake7521 You have to note that Makita makes 2 types of tools, 1 type of tools are made and only sold in Japan, and 1 type of tools for the rest of the planet, also most of the tools sold in Japan are effectively made in Japan, I don't have a clue as to WHY, but that is the way it goes, now if you want a tool from Japan, you need to have a contact there that will buy it, and then ships it to you.
The only video in my life that I have watched more than 3 times completely. I am currently at 18 times. It changes me and how I think about work and life. Never thought it would be a video about a saw. Thank you so much.
I love that the machine is only as complicated as you absolutely needed to be. The design is simple which makes it effective and easy to maintain. Well done. I've got my eyes set on making one as well very much like this
I like the space saving idea. It literally replaces table saw and miter saw (in most cases). Pretty awesome setup.
Bravo !!
Sir, you have an excellent way of working with wood and an ingenious mechanical aptitude. I thoroughly enjoy your video's. I have wanted a panel saw for a long time, with your demonstration I now feel confident enough to make my own. Thank you.
You are definitely a Brain Surgeon, but with wood. I love your precision! You are now one of my main people to follow. Thank You
Amazing work and all your videos show an affordable way to fabricate any tool you need affordably vs buying already built. Fantastic work. From USA with gratitude to you!!!
Love your videos.
Dont be afraid to include yourself in the video.
We are all different, and what matter is what we do/share with others.
Be safe.
You're a very impressive guy, everything you do is so neat and clean and precise! Also, that blew my mind when you shone the laser through the acrylic rod to create the line! I've always wondered how that was achieved and it now makes so much sense!
I really enjoy watching the things you make so professional and well put together Thank you for posting them

The laser line is a great addition to this setup.
Professional woodworking. Thanks.
Parabéns!!!! Excelente trabalho, acabamento e maestria.
I attempted this. It worked out great. Everything was aligned perfectly. All pieces were flush. Everything level and symmetrical. All precise tolerances were within one-thousandth of an inch...
And then I woke up from that glorious dream.
You are a genius. Brilliant work.
thanks for sharing... very talented
good choice of bottled counterweight

I love the JD bottle as a counterweight!
Simply awesome !
Awesome! Again great WORK!
You should do a shop tour
Amazing work! Would be cool to see changeable heads for this - something like a router head would be handy for rabbit and dado joints.
An interchangeable head would be a project within its self trying to accommodate the differences in fastening a router as opposed to a circular saw. Seems like it would be easier just to make multiple passes than to take the time to remove the saw and replace it with a router and then set it up for the correct depth with the right bit and then align it perfectly. Then you would have to take it back out when you are done just to reattach the circular saw and line it back up at a precise 90. There is so much measuring precision work that has to be done that you just don't see in this video. Sure, looks easy but you are only seeing .01% of the work. The other 99.99% of painstaking preparation is edited out.
Beautiful rig
Very nice, and thank you for not using music in your videos.

Wow. Thank you very much!
Sehr schön Dankeschön fürs Zeigen
I will always say this. You are by far the most patient, the most thorough, the most close paying attention artisan on CZcams. All your works are masterpieces. It never amazes me how you take your time in your work. You even take your time to blow away dust. Your work is very relaxing and soothing. I love watching your videos and always excited when you post a new one.
Quick question. Can this be scaled up to fit a 4ft wide full plywood sheet? I would rather have this and most likely use it more than a table saw. Great video and thank you for posting.
Amen, amen and AMEN! None finer!
Eeek... I don't see how it could be scaled up to be that large, as it will create a lot of deflection in the rods since they will be 8'+ in between the support.
Basically, it will sag to much from its own weight.
Now, it could be done with other components and be used vertically, and make an actual panel saw from it... but it would cost less to buy an actual panel saw for sheet sized goods.
But in that instance, a track saw would be a better priced solution.
Great work!
You are one heck of a craftsman!
I like how in the digital times you always have newspaper to spare :)
Sangat bermanfaat, terimakasih telah berbagi ilmu. 👍👍👍👌👌👌
Jack Daniels, is the counterweight to the struggles of life :)
Great tool!
👏👏perfect job👍👍❤️🇹🇭
thank u sir for your videos
15:13 The counterweight of the circular saw when mounted on the wall is a large bottle of Jack Daniels. My kind of guy.
Well done mate! ;)
You are one smart guy
Very Nice Wrk !
I will make this gadget someday, thanks for sharing!
Hey Sir, it is a masterpiece. I like it :)
Awesome!

Profissional de enorme gabarito
knives abandoned for years but still good quality steel
Es un barbaro, un crack
Gerçekten de harika aparatlar tasarlıyor ve üretiyorsun. Her bir detay üzerinde hassas çalışıyorsun. Tebrik ederim...
Amazing
Good work but, since it is fixed on the wall, could have a longer rail than this. I intend to use your plan to build one that comport a entire plywood board.
Thanks!
I appreciate your support.
Thank you very much !
Nice! (again) :D
My biggest takeaway is the Jack Daniels in the corner...Great job on this!
unique idea.....⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Nice work!
I would have liked to see if the individual parts for a D3 cutting board could be cut on it. I'm not sure if this works precisely enough?
