Newt the Flute ... Ralph Paige and Duke Miller... I've danced square dances for over 50 years and in all that time, only once did I ever get Bob to come down and dance one time with me (I was a teenager in Peterborough then). He brought such a wonderful energy to any band he played with. Would love to see Jack Perrin's photo documentary of that time... Country Corners...where would I find it? My mother, Kay Gilbert, and Newt collaborated on "The Nelson Music Collection" and no doubt they have joined Bob, Quig, Ralph and many other notable musicians from NH for that great Contra Band on the Other Side... missing them all.

The "Country Corners" documentary was re-released on DVD, along with Full of Life A-Dancin', another film made by the same producers. The DVD is available in many New Hampshire libraries or through interlibrary load; you could also contact one of the producers to ask about purchasing: RWBNevell@gmail.com

I remember him in the 60s and 70s. I grew up doing Saturday night contras and squares with Dudley Laufman and these guys. What good memories.
