Forza Horizon 5 | Stock Turbos VS Anti-Lag Turbos | Which Is The Fastest? | Forza Science!

  • Welcome to another Forza Science! Today we investigate if the new anti-lag turbo option in the upgrades shop is any faster than the standard turbo upgrade! We find out if the anti-lag turbo upgrade actually makes any difference in identical cars with the same specifications/tuning. I put both identical Huracan's through several performance tests to find out!
    The anti-lag definitely sounds better & more brutal but does that noise translate into performance?

    TLDW;
    Anti-lag turbos appear to be faster for a drag race, but won’t gain any significant time (about .2 seconds).
    Anti-lag turbos may be slower in a race with turns, although this likely varies depending on the skill of the driver and the track they are on.
    Final note: these cars appear to not have any tuning done to them, so tuning may effect the performance significantly, however, I cannot confirm nor deny this at the moment.

    I'm not an expert in cars and stuff, but does anti lag really make your car spit that much fire? I've never seen an insane amount of pop and bangs like that besides from heavily tuned rally cars.

    • @DecibelthePanda
      @DecibelthePanda Před rokem +24

      it's a little overdone, but look up rally anti lag and you'll see it's nothing by extreme amounts. No one would really run this on a lambo or something though.

      the answer toyour question is yes anti lag does create pops and bangs because it is used to create combustion the anti lag just feeds the engine a bunch of air for the turbo when your foot isnt on the pedal so when you hit the gas you have turbo but i would think anti lag on a lambo would blow the engine without proper mods

    So presumably you just did one run with each and called it a day.
    Also you could’ve done all the straight line stuff in one section and just put the split times up as it became relevant.

      It's a game, doesn't need to be perfect science. You get the idea as the antilag is just a tad bit quicker with acceleration, that's all
